I just bought my 55 for 26600 euros at 28000 km. It comes with a standard 6 years warranty. It’s from 21 so I still have left 3 years of full warranty. The car drives amazing. Coming from a golf 7 this is really next level. The first week of ownership we drove it to Spain for the holidays. A bit anxious about the charging possibilities along the way but it all went fine. I used Tesla superchargers, IONITY and shell recharge. All worked fine. At the hotel I could charge for max 4 hours at 11 kWh for €8. So a full charge cost me €16 :). Really happy with the car so far.

I think I’ll be taking my next EV down to Denia, Costa Blanca. Might get the ferry to Normandy rather than Santander.

      That's a steal 😅 I just bought a 50 for 29000 euros. Where did you buy it?

My local Audi dealer has an E-tron 55 advanced from 2019 with 93.000 km (57800 miles) here for sale. 6 months now, that is for sale. They lowered the price from 37.000€ to now 31.000€ and I think they have to lower it even more. I was interested, but then I read all the issues this big beast can have... It comes with a one year dealer warranty... But I think that is too risky. I fear that the car will cost me a lot of money in the future. That is why I'm now pending between the used e-tron and a used Tesla Model 3. Yes the Tesla has also some issues, but way less and when they have to be repaired, prices are way lower than an Audi. Because, it still is a 100.000€ car.
    I can't decide at the moment. 😅

A used Audi eTron 55 can be a good option but I would want a warranty. My leasing company has offered me the chance to buy mine for. £27000. It’s a 2021 Technik comfort and sound. But for the same money I can buy one from Audi approved used and get a 2 year warranty and 2 years servicing included.
Used Tesla is a good option. It’s a smaller less refined car but they are good for reliability and cheap to own.

I have a LE with the blasted virtual mirrors. They fog up depending on humidity. Audi want £160 to just look at the issue despite me having plenty of videos showing the issue. Problem I have is that it only happens in certain conditions! If it doesn't happen when Audi looks at it, I've lost my £160.

I have heard of other owners also suffering with condensation in the wing cameras - should have mentioned it in the video. Hope you get yours sorted.

It’s a known and accepted problem by Audi. A 2-stage problem to rectify (1) book it in and they will do a software update to ’speed up’ the heating elements in the mirrors. This will not work, so then (2) re-book, tell them it isn’t working (because it doesn’t) and they will then replace the mirrors (cameras) under warranty, so long as the warranty period hasn’t expired. I have been told his info by the service department of a main dealer… can’t say where 🤫 and I am / have been through the process.
      SPREAD THE WORD.

I'm strongly considering getting a 2022 plate E-Tron 55 SUV soon. The main reason being the current pricing, at the moment I'm driving a highly over-valued Petrol Mercedes that has kept 95% of its value from new in 2019 (thanks Covid and Brexit) that I want to sell whilst its got a high price, and want to buy a slightly used EV because they've already depreciated. I can see I can pick up a 22 plate E-Tron 55 that was around £80k when new, for as little as £35k here in the UK with less than 10k miles on it, which is mad. I'm expecting them to hold their value for several years at least.
I drive very little (only about 400 miles a month), and can count on 1 hand how many times I've done more than 200 miles in a day in the last 5 years, so range isn't an issue for me at all. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should be concerned about? Home charging isn't an issue, and the 55 performance looks like it's genuinely very quick, a lot quicker than 99% of cars on the road. It's the comfort factor that's pulling me in too, the ride and noise level's just look amazing.

It is an incredibly refined car, superb comfort. Range is ample for most and charging still amongst the best for longer trips. They are a bit light on equipment, not much is added to standard cars but there are lots of ex lease cars out there so you’ll find one that’s right for you. I’d buy Audi approved used with a warranty, recently had a subscriber pick one up for about £27k. Got a great package including a charger with fitting (worth about £900), warranty MOTs and services.
