A lot of people don't realise she worked hard for her career, No Doubt gigged hard and wrote all their own material. She also had killer pipes in the 90s
Hell yes !!
I saw them live several times in their prime and Gwen could SING. Crazy good live band in their day.
💜💯
Gwen can still sing.. i have seen her twice in Vegas and once in Vancouver in 2016, then in 1996 with No Doubt for the tragic kingdom tour and her vocals have no changed. She can still sing the hell out of no doubt songs. It’s weird when she’s on tv programming she almost puts on a different voice then when she’s touring .. so people see this tv voice of hers and say she can’t sing.. when she really can
Damn straight!
My late husband always talked about the time he met Gwen Stefani. It was right before “Tragic Kingdom” dropped so she wasn’t famous yet. And he really didn’t know who their band was at the time. He and his friends were at some meet and greet and she came and talked to them for awhile and personally thanked them for coming. He said she was the nicest person he’d ever met!
Наверное продала душу дьяволу, как делают все знаменитости в обмен на популярность🤷🏻♀️ посмотрите гвен Стефани у сатанистки Марины абрамович
I mean, what gal wouldn’t be nice to Gavin Rossdale?
I'm sure she is, no doubt about it.
@@Giulorma1121 me. He cheated on her
Was he from here in Anaheim too? My high school history teacher/tennis coach was older than her and went to school with her brother and met her a few times and said she was nice
From ‘Don’t Speak’ to ‘Cool’…
The emotional maturity and brilliance.
Take notes, kids. THAT’S an Icon.
Yes, she is ICONIC.
Gwen is immortal
How she just casually said “Tragic Kingdom” 😮😂 Like, girl we were there in the 90s!!! That album and TLC’s were the soundtrack to my first years of college!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
crazysexycool is STILL the soundtrack to my life lol
but it is not their first record, so weird she said that
@@joojoobaw Love that!!! 🥰
My goodness she is stunning!!
When they first came out and mtv actually showed a lot of music videos she was my first real crush.. music was awesome too.
Gwen is sexy❤😊beautiful and so talented
She is a wreck of her former self. I wish near perfect girls would stop messing with themselves.
@@ptegsotica5895I dare you not to be that person
@@ptegsotica5895, go hug a tree.🙄
Tragic Kingdom is one of the best albums of the 90's, wish No Doubt was still a band
Me too! Her solo stuff just ain’t it
They actually dropped an album in 2012. It was really good. I miss them too.
For sure it is! And it still sounds fresh to me.

She's a legend . Sunday morning is my favorite song .

Stellar album. The Climb is my favorite, but Sunday is such a close second!
Agreed, Sunday Morning.🫶
YES!! A fave for sure, and even tho' it was a little commercial/crossoveresque, I also liked, 'Don't Speak'. Augh...I miss them, bad.

Gwen Stefani is hands down a LEGEND
Gwen is 54 and she looks PHENOMENAL!!!

She aged better than my ex for sure👍

I wish she hadn’t had all that work done. Natural aging looks better imo. She is beautiful though.

As soon as I saw this....I started singing Don't Speak! ❤
Bro their ska albums are so timeless! And I love their albums that are mainstream as well. I miss no doubt.
Well deserved cheer. Gwen played it cool. No Doubt is an amazing band❤
You can tell she was annoyed. Especially when they’re having a conversation.
She wasn’t ND on her own. There’s a reason they’re not together anymore and it’s initials are GS
@@brite1217Ha! True!
I wouldn't call that ear piercing manic scream a cheer - there's a difference
The good old days 😊
No Doubt and Gwen’s voice are the everything of my entire girlhood ❤❤❤
She never ages...
well come on surgery
Gee, it seems celebrities have some kind of anti-aging secret. What could that be??

@@aldiasmaestrada2960She's not drinking the blood of tortured babies. If it was that, wouldn't all celebrities look that young? She has had a lot of very good cosmetic surgery.
No doubt ruled my world in the mid 90s. I remember falling in love with them when the beacon street collection album came out, and when tragic kingdom hit, I was hooked. She was THE IT girl for many years, and rightfully so. An amazing performer and vocalist, she deserves her success!
Omg Beacon Street is excellent! Open the gate up!!! My fave is still Return of Saturn, that album had the most mature songwriting and just blew me away!
@@SquirtlePower809 saw the return to Saturn tour in 2000 in Chicago. It was their first stop on the tour, and it was an awesome show. I even got to go backstage and meet the band, in which I still have the pictures (from disposable cameras 😆) and autographs. The album is amazing.
@ViviSoren wait! Omg we were at the same show!!!! That was my first concert ever!! I was so young haha! And holy hell it was the most incredible show! It is definitely #2 on the top 10 live shows I have been to. Ugh, I love No Doubt so much. It was a really exciting time to be alive, I just remember there was such a fun energy when they ruled the airwaves. And I loved them so much (and Alanis) that I made this folder where I collected every picture I could find from magazines and I printed off pics from online and made like a scrapbook dedicated to them lol.
Gwen is GORGEOUS ❤
*was she looks like fake af now.
Gwen without her red lipstick is so weird to me! Gorgeous as always 😍
Yes. Bright pink or orange would be great but the neutrals are boring to me. But she does have a cosmetics company to promote.
She was iconic. ya'll need to shut the hate and bow down. She was a pioneer and was performing on stage like no woman was.
YES!!!
Gwen is literally the most humble and amazing person i've ever encountered (briefly). She's literally that person young people should all be following. so real and down to earth, literally exactly what you see on the screen even more humble in person IF YOU CAN imagine that even!
I love her....killer style...very individual❤
And today, Don’t Speak is still one of my all time favorite songs
Gwen Stefani has been my idol since I was a young girl. Always loved her music and looked up to her as a powerful badass women. Thanks for being such a wonderful example ❤
Same here 😊 Gwen was the first bad ass chick I remember fondly growing up.
Same. Until she got with whats his face and got work done randomly (prob his suggestion) and is just a husk of who she was. Hayley Williams is what I expected Gwen to be and she failed me and so many other women who looked up to her
I’m sure her life is easier since becoming famous but nothing, NOTHING could top playing with sublime ❤
I miss No doubt.
She doesn’t age. And/or whatever work she’s had done is that fine balance of not too much. She looks fab.
She had a ton of work done on her face.
Tons and tons and tons of work on her face sometimes she’s not even recognizable
@@Itsyaboy88 disagree… she’s obviously has had lots of work, but my point is that (in my opinion), she’s done it well, and hasn’t crossed that line yet.

omg how does Gwen still look like she's 24? I love her so much. She's such an amazing artist, performer, and songwriter.
The same way everyone in the business still look like they're 24. Why is this hard to see/understand for some people?
Spirit cooking?
Makeup...
She recently had a full face-lift. And that wasn't her first. She has been getting work for years. This video is not recent. She looks horrible now, she went overboard on plastic surgery. Do a google search. She is 54. In a few more years, plastic surgery will not be enough to hide her aging anymore. It is inevitable. I see insecurity when I see people like this.
@@TheLauraVEffectYour average 54 year old does not look like Gwen, be so fr. There are subtle signs of aging, but for the most part she looks extremely youthful and vibrant, and not saying 50+ year olds can’t, but typically by 50 most regular people let themself go lol. It’s okay to give credit where credit is due 🤭
I love Gwen so much her humble beginning s makes her so relatable.love her
No Doubt was EVERYTHING....
❤ Gwen! She’s one of my muses! ❤
Saw Gwen perform for free at CSUF just right before she blew up. I’ve always admired her style. Those Del Taco days were truth!
I remember that
She sang with Bradly and it was crazy good. The live performances they shared was something special and she reflected on that after his passing.
She has the best doctor in the world. Her work looks so natural and she’s stunning.

Tragic Kingdom is one of if the best produced and mixed albums ever. The over-duns and layering of the instruments and qwens voice are amazing.
OMG!!!! Gwen looks exactly the same as she did 20yrs ago. The only thing that's changed about her is her style.. That audience member that screamed when Gwen said the name of the album *"The Tragic Kingdom"* she she screamed so loud in my earphones that it literally scared me because I wasn't expecting it. If I had known that someone was going to scream like they were literally at a. *"No Doubt"* concert I would've taken my earphones out of my ears..
🤣 My poor ear drums are NOT LOLing... 😳😵😂.

She is so beautiful
She is such a sweet person and after the disgusting things Gavin did to her she deserves all the happiness
My goodness, she ages well
It’s easy when you have tons of work done to your face.
Na, she was beautiful but now she looks lika a Kardashian, too fake.
She has no work done, yet, here. This is old footage.
Legend. Gwen definitely earned the fame
She is amazing!
She's stunning 🤎
I love Gwen ❤️ She is so down to earth
First of all 50's never looked so good!
Secondly this is how you do it Cassie.
This women, Qwen overcame so much, loves her art and saved No Doubt.
The Black community loves you gurl. ❤
The early days build the foundation of all the memories you acquire. Will never forget my early band days, some of the best times of my life.
No Doubt will always hold a special place in my heart 💜
Gwen is beautiful! Beautiful inside and out. You can't fake that. I can't believe she is 54. She looks 20yrs younger. I know she works hard and takes care of herself. I love that she hasn't messed with her face.
I was over the moon last year when she released her red lipsticks. I got her original red and then one that had all three colors in a package for myself and bought a few for stocking stuffers. I always get compliments when I wear them. I have one of the palettes too. It's my daily go to. Oh and her liner😂
I started to realize people know how hard she's worked and how far she has come they just dismiss it. I'm not sure why. She should be up there with the top earners. I bet if she came out with a great album she would!!
I love Gwen, too, but she's had a ton of plastic surgery. Look up a video with Lori Hill she talks about Gwen's different face lifts. it's definitely money well spent. I definitely am considering having it done myself.
I’ve never heard a famous person talk about ‘the good old days’ like that. 🤗
Gwen is a real one❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! She is gorgeous ❤
She’s so fabulous 🥰
Tragic Kingdom was everything to me. I never connected with a singer before that.
Return of Saturn is their best album
Her makeup looks amazing!!
She looks amazing.
The No Doubt days were back when she was an actual artist and made actual music. I miss those days.
Gwen still looks good! Go girl!
No Doubt is so unique there’s nothing like them.
She's been in music forever!
I can't believe she just referred to No Doubt as "a band I was in" 😮😢 that's just.. sad
Yeah. It is really sad. But I get it. I don't hold on to things in my past. I appreciate them and look back on them but I'm a completely different person that I was unfortunately because I really like that person.
Tragic Kingdom isn't even their first album. There's two albums before tragic Kingdom that will blow tragic Kingdom away. No doubt self-titled, and Beacon Street collection.
Thanks for this because Tragic Kingdom was my first exposure to them back then.
She is absolutely stunnnnnning

she is so unbelievably beautiful!!!! i’m around her same age and i’d kill for that perfect skin.🤩 She also always seemed like the most real down to earth chick, not famous or stuck up at all. i’ve loved her since her first appearance with no doubt
Don’t feel bad, I saw her really up close like 13 years ago. And while she was super pretty her skin was way less than flawless, believe me. I was surprised too. And that’s 13 years ago.
Gwen pays a lot of money to maintain her physical appearance. The average person wouldn’t be able to afford the doctor bills. She is fighting aging hard. It will be interesting to see if she ever allows herself to age normally.
Love this 😊
God I adore her!!!!!!
Remember when No Doubt and Sublime was in concert, a few months before Bradley passed away..

Totally agree what happened to our generation? In the 90s we always screamed for our favorite singers

This is the best I've ever seen her look.
that reaction to an artist casually dropping their iconic work of art is the most appropriate one i have witnesses in ages
Tragic Kingdom is actually the 3rd album they released. I wonder why she would say it was the first…
it was the album that put them on the map, so she probably said it because most people aren’t familiar with the first two

Return of Saturn is their best album..
She looks AMAZING!!!!
Ahhh the queen!!! No Doubt is the BEST!
Gwen's interviews make the best drinking games. Like 🥃. Like 🥃. Like🥃. Like 🥃. Like 🥃.
She went from songs with actual chords and melody, in No Doubt, to the absolute garbage that is Hollaback Girl.
I can't think of an artist whose work declined in quality as sharply as hers. "Don't Speak" is an excellent pop song, and "Hollaback Girl" is to good music what the Big Mac is to fine cuisine.
I know, and it cracks me up even more because she actually got super popular and famous from that song and all the other ones that came afterwards. I love the No Doubt version of Gwen Stefani better than the solo version. I never cared for any of her songs that she has solo.
Just a hip hop influenced song,I'll like to see you top it though
”I’d like to see you top it”, wow really mature. I can’t cook like Gordon Ramsey, does that mean I can’t tell a restaurant when their food sucks? You don’t need to be a musician to know when music is sub par.
@@craigchuraman1340 music and beauty are the same,in the eyes of the beholder
@@craigchuraman1340 True! And I've been a professional musician for almost 3 decades. Anyone with a cursory understanding of music could write a better song than Hollaback Girl. It is utter trash.
She's so AWESOME!!!!
Running is an underrated hit! I still listen to it.
Gwen’s too rich and famous now, she’s lost touch with those tough years. Even in the 90s, I’d be shocked to find out you could rent a nice mic from a studio for only $5… reminds me of that arrested development joke “I haven’t been to a grocery store in years but how much can a gallon of milk possibly cost? $100?”
I mean she's been famous now almost as long as she wasn't famous. But do people really forget how their 20s were? They were in their upper 20s when they got their big break. Touring in a van with all guys for almost a decade I think she remembers.
@@Whoisshe7575 this is true, but with the amount of success she’s got now, I wouldn’t be surprised if her memory of those times is a bit warped. Glorified. Selectively saving the good memories, and maybe repressing some of the really hard stuff that you try to forget even when you don’t have a ton of success, like skipping meals and sleeping in the tour van because they couldn’t afford a hotel for that leg of the tour or what have you. That’s my guess, that it’s like a parent telling their kid “I used to half to walk to school in the snow, and that’s what made me so tough today,” maybe forgetting the danger of toe frostbite they were so afraid of back then, or how they might have once thought to themselves “when I’m a parent, I don’t want to put my kid through THIS kind of hardship.” That’s my guess. That she didn’t “forget” her 20s, I’m not suggesting that it’s like a gap in her memory or anything of the like, but that the feeling of constantly being one move from everything falling apart, true instability, the feelings of rejection and deflated self worth that come with “roughing it” all the time, might have been pushed back a bit in favor of a more “tabloid ready” self history that looks a bit more kindly on those tough years. I can’t imagine Gwen wasn’t depressed durring phases of those early years, and talking at length and getting real and deep about depression and personal pain isn’t a huge part of her brand anyway. When you spend enough time saying “those years had hard moments, but it was so fun and I wouldn’t trade it because it made me who I am,” you start believing the lie yourself. She likely looks at it as having “escaped” a worse future, so I imagine she doesn’t spend alot of time thinking hard about staying in touch with who she was and what mattered to her at what I’m sure she sees as the worst/hardest part of her journey. She got away from it, she won, and she never has to go back to that mental space if she doesn’t want to. That’s what I’m picking up on, from this, other interviews, and having just seen her on screen for hours over this last season of the voice. She doesn’t come off as someone who had to struggle to get where she is, and I think that’s on purpose, and part of that brand I mentioned earlier. But I could easily be wrong, who the f am I to judge?
@@Whoisshe7575 to that point regarding my original post, a response that wouldn’t make me think this would have been something closer to “man, I remember popping over to the local studio to rent a mic for like $50, and we usually didn’t even have that much to spare, those were hard days, but we would get our hands on some gear any way we could, and find a way to make the music happen no matter how poor we were! I wouldn’t be sitting here without that kind of determination” If that’s how she framed it, I’d be 😶. But glorifying it to say “we’d just pop over to the studio and grab a mic for 5 bucks” makes immediately feel like that never actually happened, kuz those of us who are currently where she was then know that it’s not that easy. It’s just a story she tells us and likely herself to keep the party vibes alive, and THATS on brand for her
@@Whoisshe7575 she referred that era as “the good old days” twice in this clip. No one who’s ever had to collect dimes off the floor of their van just to find enough money to eat del taco remembers that experience fondly. There’s a lot more pain associated with multiple experiences of coming up short for a taco and saying “fuck, I hope the cashier is chill and gives it to me anyway or I’m not eating today” than she’s letting on here. Her tone when she says “good old days,” makes me think she’s saying it’s no better or worse than today, it was just different. But if you asked her if she’d be willing to give everything up and go back to that for even a single day, I bet she’d pause for a moment, flash back to some of the truly awful experiences she undoubtedly had, and say “never in a million years”. There’s a special kind of pain and trauma that comes with having a clear vision for your own future, yet being told by a teenage cashier at del taco that the world doesn’t feel you even deserve the worst and cheapest food available. Her agents and publicists will have a much easier time selling her as a product to us masses if she’s consistently happy, bubbly, and care free. I have no doubt (see what I did there) that it took some coaching to get her here, but I’d be SHOCKED if she really looks back at collecting dimes at 1am to afford fast food as anywhere close to how much easier her journey could have been if everything was the same, but she just had a little more savings. It’s all about context too, I bet she remembers those moments a lot more fondly than her brother, who didn’t stumble backwards into fame and stardom. Animators have hard lives, he’s probably still in the “good ol days,” still depressed, and still trying to change things in his life, a life that Gwen made sound pretty romantic and ideal. I know I’m ranting here, and again, I could be wrong, I’m open to it. But as a struggling musician, with a whole community of ppl around me in similar positions, it just does not feel like she’s being totally honest with us or herself about how hard and scarring those good days really were
@@zwsh89 you sound like you're projecting. At no point in their career even when they first broke into the scene, did anyone in the band including Gwen make it sound like they had a traumatic time, except for the lead singer committing suicide. I'm sure if Gwen didn't have enough money for food she could just go eat at her parents. She wasn't a starving artist. I think they were at a point if they didn't "make it" they were going to have to figure out what else in life they wanted to do because they were all approaching 30. They had a house all together and would eat Sunday dinner together which is what the video for Sunday Morning was based around. I think they had exciting lives before being famous.. They were doing college shows with Sublime. Just cause they weren't rich doesn't mean it wasn't a fun time for them.
I used to love her. Until she refused to come over and say hi to just the ten of us after a performance. I was in a wheelchair no less. She didn’t give a shit.
