Noisykid Inaction Russia was going through a really thought time at this point, with its economic shift and high tension. Yeltsin really reformed Russia during this time. Yeltsin was not a bad president. He embraced peace and wanted everyone to live a good and full life. DerrkuciCufo yes, but it’s not an insult in that context. Nevermind, you’ll not get it 😅

Ельцин, мягко говоря, весьма непрезентабельно выглядит на фоне Клинтона.

Missed opportunities... of friendship, of peace, of unity... But maybe Man isn’t meant to be peaceful. We only know war and competition...

Honestly, can we bring Yeltsin back to life and put him in charge of Russia again?
    I miss the 90s.

How did the translator refrain from laughing when Yeltsin said that? I would have had a hard time forbearing my laughter.

And Biden wants to provoke Putin when Trump wanted the US and Russia to be friends, or at least co-exist well.

He was quite approachable in his first term as well, but lost his patience with West after 2004 NATO expansion and colour revolutions around Russia. He became paranoid and now thinks that if he lose control over Ukraine and Georgia, a US-backed revolution will come to his country.
