Thanks a million. I was using my Mbox2 with Reaper on my old laptop and it worked fine. I then bought a new Dell laptop and try as I may I could not get it to recognize my Mbox. I actually had given up and continued to use my old laptop for weeks now. I came across your post today and hey presto!!!

Thank you kindly. I like to do my vocals remotely (like out in the woods) so I don't disturb anyone. Taking my Zoom L20 is a bit of a hassle. I found this in a drawer and it didn't work with Studio One. This driver fixed that. Much appreciated.

I'm using windows 11 as well and when I download Scala's driver and install it. The system still doesn't recognise it. Could you elaborate on the steps you took to make it work on windows 11.

after i download the driver do i have to go to any settings to open my pro tools...i did download the driver and it did read the interface...i do have windows 10....thank you

I just got a brand new PC and did find some driver for the mbox2 mini but I have gotten some blue screen crashes and it must be because of the driver. I am going to try the one you provided in case it's different and crossing my fingers that it won't keep crashing because everything is new. just for reference, the driver I had found was named Mbox_2_USB_Family_v90265_Drivers_70922 - perhaps different than what you provide here. I had been using it just fine on my previous computer for a few years and had upgraded to 11. By the way, one thing that I kept having to do in my previous built was that videos would stop playing and I would have to go into SERVICES and had to re-start Windows Audio. I hope that's no longer an issue. Thanks.

Thank you, mine is now working, but windows 11 is crashing after 1 or 2 minutes since i install it. is working fine for everyone but maybe I had a conflict with the other audio interface, The M-Audio Track Plus. Any ideas to resolve a conflict?

As of 03 Apr 2024, the Mbox 3 Pro interface is no longer compatible with Windows 10, and users are looking for a replacement. The Mbox 3 Pro was known for running well at lower buffer settings and was good for e drumming.1 However, it is no longer compatible with Windows 10, and no updates are coming. Some users have tried cleaning drivers, reinstalling, and changing out the firwire PCIE card, but the issue persists.0
So I Installed the drivers and reset my PC but my mbox 2 mini still does not want to turn on and my windows settings says there is a driver error.... what should I do from here ?
Shoot man I’m not sure, try reinstalling the drivers and restarting the PC again
Do I need to have it unplugged to install the drivers or should it work if I keep it plugged in
It is best practice to leave it unplugged while installing the driver!
got a mbox 2 pro from goodwill for $4, got the usb for another $1. could not download drivers from the official website. thanks for this!

Unfortunately I don’t have one for mac. The only idea I can think of is to try running windows on your mac and use it like that. Sorry!

Hello. I have Pro Tools LE 8 , Mbox 2 pro. Tried your driver but did not work. I still have a blinking green light on the Mbox. And Pro Tools wont load because It can't locate the hardware. Can you help?

@giolascala7 the mbox is not being recognized by Pro Tools. It is plugged in Via old-time firewire. I read Windows 10 does not recognize firewire. Do you think it's firewire problem and not a driver problem?
That is very possible because in my case the computer was not recognizing or sending power to the MBOX at all (no green light at all) until after I installed my driver
I have Avid Mbox 3 and it was working for me very good and i am using windows 10 pro but suddenly the laptop stopped recognising it and i have the correct driver and i did many troubleshooting steps it didn’t fix the issue , Is there a way to fix this issue ?

looks like memory integrity blocked the drivers in the core isolation. Reloaded and same thing. I think it's a high security notification because the interface is older @@giolascala7

Yeah I would say so. It’s kind of limited with inputs/outputs but the quality is still good
So I have the mbox 2 pro and I used ur link and everything and it was working but I can’t hear the playback and I’m using pro tools ultimate how do I fix that?
Mic and everything works just can’t get the play back to work
Try clicking the little buttons on the actual interface. Also check the mixing knob to make sure it will allow for playback through your output cable. If those don’t work, maybe your output settings are not outputting to the correct device in Pro Tools. Hope that helps

@@loekiloek8468 is there a little light on the mbox 3? If so does it turn on? It seems like the computer recognizes that there is an audio device plugged in. Check your computer’s audio output setting and see if the mbox is truly recognized.
