- on june 10, 2022 we had our first gig at De Bosuil in Weert (NL) with this new group, a Rush tribute band called Spirit of Rush
here a version of the song Tom Sawyer that we performed on that great night..

First, and most importantly you did a great job. THAT being said it took six people in 2022 to do what three people did in the 1980s...just shows how great the trio really was...RIP NEAL

I'm moving to the Netherlands in 2 weeks for 2 years. I hope they're still playing. I grew up listening to Rush and saw them the first time in '75. Respect for this great job!

Rush zelf is natuurlijk niet te evenaren want dat zijn 3 virtuozen. Helaas nu nog maar 2.
Maar dit lijkt me zo te horen een prima cover band. Hopelijk eens te beluisteren in het westen van het land en dan kom ik zeker kijken😁

nice. curious that her register sounded lower, though a fuller voice. she did a great job, though- "society" right on pitch. the whole band was good. been a rush fan a lonnnng time.

Very nice! If the singer attacked it with a little stronger conviction, it would be perfect! Or at least as close to perfect as you can get without it actually being Rush! (No disrespect intended).
I really want to like you because you're a great band but something isn't right. Maybe the vocals? too soft? I don't know but I enjoyed it anyway.
