The last location only seems to be updated whenever the lost phone accesses a google product, e.g. maps; is there a way to have it always transmit its location?
You'll need to log out of your account. Click on your account photo and you should find a logout or switch account button, then you can enter her info to sign in to her account
If im not mistaken as long ur phone connected to ur ggl account eventhough the thieve throw out ur sim card its can still work, cuz obviously the thieves would connect it through wifi some how to unlock the phone.
I done had two phones stolen and this s*** don't work. It show me the location where it was stolen. And there was no phone. Never showed me another location ever again. And it's easy to show me your phone sitting on the counter right there next to you. Leave it at your friend's house across town then show me how to find your device works

mine used to load me my battery percentage and after it started raining outside it stopped showing and just said cant reach device, but it was still available for call until today i lost it somewhere on the street on 24th february and someone might have picked it up/stole it but i was able to put a secure device with another contact phone even if i also have my PIN set, i hope i will find my phone soon, have you?
@@Shendelzare1 I hope you found your phone. When you did Secure Device did it give you any kind of confirmation that the pin/password successfully locked your phone? I didn't get one. I went back into Secure Device later and it said I didnt have a pin or password on the phone. I don't understand because I had just did Secure Device. I don't know what is happening. No one can be reached at Find my Device app. The thieves have had my phone three days now and I don't know what to do. Everything is on my phone and I don't want them reading and using my data. Alot of my accounts had auto fill passwords too so all they have to do is sign in and they are in. This is so upsetting.
i believe only if you contacted the police, they will be able to locate the phone trough IMEI provided to them even if the thief inserts new SIM card in to the phone.

You need to login with your moms google account. If you are using your account it will not work

Obviously go to the police and report your phone as stolen and you have the perp located.

The most obvious use case is finding your lost phone from a web browser WHITHOUT ANOTHER ANDROID PHONE. But HOW? No instructions anywhere.
