You have to take permission from the sports club head. They will tell you the rules and regulations which you then have to follow. For example: Wearing clean footwear and a proper sports jersey, etc. If followed you will get a written permission.

4 hours is quite a lot. I wouldnt recommend you to join Amity because traveling will become a major issue in the future. Also, the fees for BA (Political Science) are a lot higher compared to other institutions like Presidency University and Jadavpur University.

For MBA, Amity University is a decent institution. The placement ratio is quite good for post-graduate management students. Many workshops and on-field practical training is given, but it is quite expensive. 2 lakh Rupees per semester. Only opt for it if you can afford it. Yes doing B.Tech CSE in Amity is worth it only if you are serious about the course, study hard and are regular with attendence. For further studying M.Tech in Japan you can give GATE examination after B.Tech. Scoring well in GATE examination allows you study M.tech in other countries.

Taking admission in BBA
Its decent and expensive. If you can afford definitely its a good place. The faculty can be supportive and also not, completely depends on the teacher that you get. In my experience, (BTECH) the teachers seem to answer all doubts whenever I ask a question. Rest about the facilities, its like any other private institute. If you plan to study and make good friends (classmates+seniors), then you are going to get a lot of help and resources. All the best.

The admission is either online or offline. Online you get a form (link: amity.edu/apply-now.aspx?1=1) that you have to fill up and upload. Offline you need to go to the branch itself, fill the form and submit. The admissions are DIRECT with just a single interview that will test your basic aptitude and communication. 99% of the people pass this interview so no worries there. Rest you have to pay the admission fees and they will grant you access to their Amizone website where further details will be provided. Note: As far as I know, there are no Entrance Exams.

First of all don't be nervous. Getting higher education should be fun and exciting. If you have other options consider that first, I wont recommend you to make Eco Hons in Amity the first priority. If you don't have options then you can definitely take admission here. The fees is the reason why I am saying this. If you have the budget, certainly go for it!!

Yes its good only if you are serious about the course. Ill be honest, the teachers are hit and a miss. Some subject teachers are just awesome and will clear all doubts but some are average. You get what you get :-D. Nonetheless, if you ask the teachers directly and stay in good terms, they will definitely help you wholeheartedly.

Yes. The placements are good. Last year Amazon visited the Campus and one student got a package of 30 lakhs. Amity is slowly building its reputation. You just have to study and stay ahead of the competition. Though one student cannot define the entire placements, still the average package is around 12-20 lakhs and most of the students from CSE get placed.

Unfortunately no. The admission process begins in July and end in September. The fees for Bsc is Rs 40,000 per year (approx).

YES...there is direct admission if you have the marks as mentioned. No extra fees required. Just apply for admission and you will be called for a short interview. This interview is done just to get relevant details about you. After that you will get admission.

Honestly, only decent. Not worth the hype. The placement is worse than other private universities for MCA.
Is it always crowed in cafeteria
Most of the time it is not crowded and you can comfortably eat. But from 12:30pm to 1:30pm it is crowded. Still, if you rush to the canteen by 12:45pm approx you will definitely find a table and can sit with freinds.
How is the Btech CSE experience in this college?
Not great...but not bad either. It depends on which people you hang out with and how focused are you.

You can do mba from here but its a bit expensive. If you have the budget, then definitely do it from here as the environment is helpful and you will get good connections here. Placements are also good. Getting placed is the matter of if you are serious and passionate.

Hello can you tell about the Btech biotechnology course in Amity kolkata and placement.
From what I have heard it is not that great and also quite expensive. Only opt for Biotechnology in Amity as the last option. Placements are not great in Biotechnology course (in Amity Kolkata), but what I can say is you will join many student groups and network with a lot of people, which may land you a nice internship. But the university itself does not handle this, its all manual.

I am a CSE student but my friend here studies law. So according to him, there are few points you should keep in mind.
1. Except your main course you have to take other 4-5 subsidiary or pass subjects(compulsory like french/german)
2. Fee is more than any other colleges like Calcutta University or any govt.colleges (near around 5 lacs, for 5 years)
3. 75% attendance minimum required
4. Placement rate for LLB is 75 %
I would say its mostly successful only if you excel at your subjects.
Rest its up to you if you want to opt here or not.

Doing BBA LLB from Amity Kolkata and in my 5th year. Tbh the law department is one of the best in Amity. I have felt that the course curriculum and the way the professors deliver the lectures are at par with the most of the good law colleges. I don't think you'll be making a mistake getting admission here. They have dedicated moot court rooms as well and various events of legal affairs to hone the professional skills of the student. I love it here.

Hey I have joined Amity University for MBA , can you please tell me how's the facilities & placement ?
Placements are done in Amity Noida after course completion. Avoid backlogs, keep you CGPA above 6 and you will manage to get packages varying from 4 lacs to 15 lacs. Rest facilities are quite nice. You can work on different projects and they generally tend to support start-up ideas.

The university offers summer internships but trust me its just average. Though what I will recommend is after you join a course you can opt for student internships by yourselves. There are student whatsapp groups where Internship offers and notifications are shared.
