Diversity with a driver license caused this

As a nomad in BC I spend a lot of hours on our highways and I have to say our highways or littered with dangerously fast drivers that have no control of their trucks and are usually all over the road. Passing other trucks uncontrollably veering into oncoming traffic lanes. It’s getting ridiculous and there is no one on the roads to stop them which is a bigger issue

I spoke to a fellow from India who worked for one of the trucking agencies in the lower mainland. He said that the owners forced them to drive 24 hours straight even though it's illegal. He said if they don't get there on time they dock pay, even if it's risky and dangerous due to unforeseen circumstances. Told me a lot of other very scary things about how those businesses are run. He ended up quitting because he felt it was unsafe and abusive.

Companies not following Canadian law are most likely the cause of this crash.

I live right on hwy 1 by sicamous and the way trucks drive around here is insane, I've been almost run off the road more than I care to count and almost every other weekend there is a deadly accident within 3 hours of home, scary out there

TransCanada supposedly the longest HWY in Canada in ON(section) is still one laner and barely has any rest area’s,and from my experience the team drivers get plenty of rest and I believe the single driver mr.gill failed to take rest break.

I have been running on this lane for years, this lane is not everybody's cup of tea. According to the reports i had from other truckers, these cattle haulers crossed the yellow lane and hit the oncoming CN truck on a single lane highway. Trucking is not for everyone especially those who don't have enough common sense to think that you shouldn't be passing vehicles on single lane highways! Surreal!
