I feel the exact same way. I don't know how to describe how excited and grateful I am that Julia came out with a new album, and it's only getting better! I'm loving her approach on the direction of the songs, her vocals are dreamy and silky, it's just perfection to me. I kinda get a 90's vibe from this too. Which is a great thing. Lots of great artists came out back then.
She drives the knife in once again and sings out thoughts close to my own so beautifully; My feelings on my smoking habit, the loss of my voice over the past few years, trying and struggling through medical solutions to problems I was never careful about, and the financial anxiety that came with being on my own. She just keeps batting 1000 to my heart. I hope that means there's a path forward for me as well.
I’m going through all similar stuff. Julia makes me feel hope for myself… or, at least, less guilt for feeling so confused in life.

something i noticed when i heard the line "I’m making plans for my future and I plan on you being in it" is that it almost mirrors a line in Turn Me Down "He took my hand, said I see a bright future I'm just not sure that you're in it"
I'm sure I'm one of many but I found Julia Jacklin after my divorce with "idk how to keep loving you" and just her being represented through music has helped keep me open...she's truly beautiful in her ways
