- As all games in this first round it came down to the wire - The Knicks defeated the Sixers 118-115 to advance to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Jalen Brunson had 41 points and 12 assists making him the first Knick since Benard King to score 40 points in 3 playoff games to close a series. The Knicks now look to face the Indiana Pacers in Round 2 where they will have home-court advantage once again.

I truly believe this team is now battle tested coming through this series. The damn 76ers fought and fought and would not go away but the Knicks came through in the clutch which all potential Championship teams must do. This will help them against the Pacers.

This was the perfect example of a Modern Day 1990’s match up. It had all of the elements of the 90’s grit and grind, with all of the modern day play making. One for the history books.
