Hey Prakash, thanks for the video. I have a question: Can same tool be used for two different material having same shrinkage % . If not, what are the factors.

    Dear Prakash,
I have a questions on plastic polymers. Currently we use a PC material Sabic Lexan PC940A. the current plastic cracks(brittle cracks) after being assembled and sitting in our warehouse.
Before we didn't see this issue but recently this issue has started to become more apparent.
What we noticed was that there is more shrinkage in the corners compared to products produced before.
Could this difference in the shrinkage of the part affect the brittleness of the part and thus cause the part to crack more easily than before?(as before we never seen these cracks)

Try injecting the part with lower injection rate.. maintain shear rate, shear heating within the recommended limit
