    Now that the kids are gone i usually just make a single or two burgers at a time and thought it might be easier to do the air fryer rather than the BBQ when the outside temperature is scorching. Glad i found your video, think i will at least try it out. For separating the burgers i find a butter knife slid between the patties, a slight twist of the knife and the separate so easily. Cheers.

    didn't see any seasoning added so since when they are frozen doesn't work a good time to season would be on the first flip before continuing to cook. please give your burger some flavor

    After I flip the burgers I always place a small (1/2 Tbs) slice of butter on top of the burger and let it melt into the meat as it finishs cooking. I've always cooked at 400 but I think your time and temp will give me a juicy burger.

    I just brought an air fryer a month ago and have been cooking small stuff in it, like hot dogs, english muffins and bacon. I had a taste for a cheeseburger today and had no idea how to cook them in an air fryer. So I type it in youtube search bar and your video showed up first. I have just subscribed to your channel and I am looking forward to learning other dishes that I can cook in my air fryer from your channel.

    What I was exactly thinking of doing. This is super fast and convenient. Especially when you’re in a hurry, or just because.
    I prefer using that Ninja dual basket air fryer, myself. Because on one side you’re making the burger, and the other side basket your making the fries.

    Great video. FYI. If you want the best frozen burger patties Snake River Farms sell a 2 pack 1/2 lb. burger that is by far the best frozen burger I've ever had the pleasure of tasting.. Like steak? You'll love these. Recognized as "the world’s most decadent burger,” Snake River Farms gourmet hamburger patties are premium restaurant quality and made from 100% American Wagyu beef. These burgers taste great anyway you prepare them, but lend themselves especially well to the convenience of the air fryer. They're a treat, once tried its gonna be hard to settle for other lessor brands. I'm not affiliated with SRF just a very satisfied customer spreading the word about this high quality meat producer.

      Feel free to season yours. I always suggest to check the label of the burgers you buy, most come already seasoned with salt and pepper. Plus all the toppings, lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, onions, make it good for me. I absolutely hate over seasoned foods or seasoning just for the sake of seasoning.

    How do you make burgers but not discuss if it’s medium, rare, medium, well done, etc.. I’m guessing this is well-done?

    • @MyForkingLife
      @MyForkingLife  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Great question. These are well done, but still juicy. If you buy any package of frozen burgers, they will recommend you cook them to 165F. That has to do with food safety. To sum it up, ground meat, including that in frozen burgers, is more susceptible to bacterial contamination because bacteria on the surface can be mixed throughout during the grinding process. But, I still order a medium burger when I eat out at restaurants 😂 But for home purposes using frozen patties, I follow the guidelines.
