They are arguing two different things one side is saying objectively when his is give his opinion on what he thinks is better with is a subjective opinion (aka personal opinion) . The others side is say objectively how to world feel about about anime and how it is liked and the impact and objectively there are fact to back that up; there isn’t for saying demon slayers isn’t in the big 3. The guy on the right is just switching objectively and subjectivity. Love the pod tho.

Like I've traveled abroad alot and what I've seen in terms of new gen my hero and demon slayer are ABSOLUTELY everywhere for some years now with one piece, naruto and dragon ball out merchandising them all by a large margin, mostly one piece oddly enough even though it's pretty old

@jerm7792 I'm with you. The main gripe against seems to be its simplicity. Personally, that's its main draw. It's not trying to be something its not and is delivering on what it's selling at a very high level

The Big 3 word originates by massive manga sales of 3 big shonen of 2000s(naruto-bleach -one piece) which made the manga industry popular in western world...
If Hunter×Hunter was not on haitus regularly then it would surely be consider in big 3 due to its massive manga sales in 2000s....
There will be no new big 3 shonen because every manga sales is different from one another now and most manga is available via digital media .

No modern shonen has even touched 100 million mark other than demon slayer .
