Interesting fact that Markus played in both cyrcles of pre-chorus like It is F#minor (just like you=)), but It's A major first time and F# minor second time. Summary, good job, man!)

I have always found this record slightly hard to transcribe as there are many layers of guitars and keys, effects etc. I think I hear Markus doing the F# you mentioned, maybe that's why I picked up on the wrong chord? @cocacola191 The guitar is a Dean RC7 mahogany, with EMG 707 pickups. I plug that straight into my Line 6 Pod XT (with OLD 2004 software) and it's all recorded direct. The settings are: J800 amp, T75 cabinet, 421 mic, Tube Screamer all at 12 o'clock. Dunlop Jazz III pick (red). I might've pumped up the gain for the leads, I usually do, but I can't remember, otherwise it's all factory presets.

It's not as hard as you think. Get yourself a good pair of headphones and a Tascam phrase trainer, that's way easier than trying to make sense of all those numbers and symbols! :)
Sure, although this was so long ago I'm not sure I remember everything! Those are EMG 707 pickups, I use Jazz III picks, and here I'm using GHS 9-58 strings, 7 strings tuned down a half step (although now I prefer slightly heavier strings.) I had a Line 6 Pod XT from 2004 with the original firmware (NOT UPDATED). The only amp sound I really liked was the J800 setting, but I played around with cabinets and mics a lot. I USUALLY used the 25 watt 12" Celestions with an SM57 for Helloween stuff at that time. For solos I'd usually have the Tube Screamer setting ON with all the dials at 12:00. Sometimes I'd leave it on for the rhythm, not always. I always kept the "Small Room" reverb handy, but I don't think I used it here. I rarely touched the amp settings, other than the gain which could be anywhere from 3:00 to cranked. This is all firmware mind you, the setup was Guitar - Pod XT - Recorder. Quite simple.
Well I'm still here, making music every day. I haven't done a video is a while, I kind of did all the covers I wanted to do, these days I'm focused on recording original stuff. When/if I ever finish it I'll do some videos for that.
