So this is a little bit different.
IDC released a mod called "The Nomad." It's a vehicle with full crafting, after you add mods to it. So I figured, since he's given us a way to have a true, nomadic playthrough, why not do that while we all wait for my lazy ass to finish up Darkness Falls?
Could be fun. Could be a mess. Let's find out!

What is 7 Days to Die?

I think you can make glass with sand and clay in the forge now, so it's easy to get again. You mentioned in a prior episode that cloth was harder to get, but I seem to get quite a bit wrenching cars. Hope this helps!

The only time I went Sledgehhammer was in DF when I stumbled across Erik's Hammer early game and just ran with it. Good weapon once you have the stamina boosts.
100% agree: Whoever did/is doing sound design has borked things in 1.0. I'm in favor of them replacing/removing some sounds ( looking at you "spooky" nighttime choir) but personal preferences aside: they need to fix the directional sound settings for a bunch of things and sound levels need to be set across the whole game.

31:32, Dead Rooster, It's empty and it's made of Bricks with ONE path to the second floor. You can install a ladder on the inside to get to the roof if needed.
Khaine - This is a good plan. It's very low effort to get a very decent horde base in this POI. It's got a surround walkway on the second floor that you can easily block off.
Khaine first off I LOLVE LOVE LOVE your tutorials! But could you please put together a small series, teaching us how to make mods? Maybe a mini version of Darkness falls.... we add some new items, make a small office with a quest attached to it... you get sunburned if your outside between 11am - 2pm, and any other cool things we could make....and then show how to package it all up into our mini mod. Thanks!
There's already tutorials for XML, guns and entities on youtube. That's why I haven't done it

Yes, the traders open at 4am now. The audio mix in this game is really bad. They need more volume sliders. I hope the GUI update coming soon will give us more options.
The Nomad is available early but useless till later on (not a bad thing). Remember, Intellect 10+5 points to max out the Nomad perks + 5 perception. All this gated by level 75 and a ton of gas.

Finally! I was interested in this series for the Nomad.... I dont normally use mods. Maybe quality of life stuff like inventory sorting. The one thing I dislike about the game is the grind of relocating all your stuff to a new base in a new city. This looks like it solves that problem.
I plan on building a garage that I can park the RV inside and forget about it until its time to relocate.
I am excited to see all the featured of the vehicle.

Pretty sure traders open around 04:10 and close 21:50 since "V1"
5 after in the morning. 10 before at night, that's always been a thing since the traders got put in. They just changed it from 6:05 to 4:05 is all.

Is anyone else having issues with clearing T5 and T6 POI because of zombies de spawning?
They should not be despawning without REspawning again once you leave a particular part of the POI again. Unless you mean the '8 in game hour alive' despawn. In which case, go faster....lol
@@pbsixgun6 Only seems to happen with full stealth build. One zombie in a closet or wall somewhere will not come out. I just saw a comment about if you run far enough away they will de spawn then not respawn. Trying to figure out if it is just a me thing.
Rekt has got to be the most hated trader in the game, everyone wants to kill him. Liz over at More2me 4life did a DF series one time where she set up her horde base at Rekt's and got him wrecked every horde night. it was fantastic. As an aside she's easy on the eyes too : )

Please update DF! With 2 extra labs at the end game with boss battles in the final lab. Second lab bigger then the first, third lab bigger then the second with a epic final floor with demon king and waves of demons maybe there is a make shift mini horde base on that final floor you can use while you battle the demon waves then you have to go out of that mini base to fight the demon king in the open. I think that would be so sick!
So DF is my favorite mod, i give it a 8/10 I just think that final mission needs to be expanded to make it 10/10

1) That's a lot of work. It absolutely, 100% won't be in the version of DF for V1.
2) I do have a plan for a bit of a super-boss after the lab for people complaining it's too easy/nothing to do.
just a question. I downloaded the MOD and it doesn't give me the RV it does give me all the stuff in the workbench so I can make it all. did my download not work right?
You won't get an RV to start with. Kaine used console commands to cheat one in for the series. But as he found out, it's only a vehicle with no crafting abilities till more perks are spent on the Advance Mechanic perks. Hope this helps.

If they're going to have Rekt be such an over the top twat, then his lines should moderate as you do jobs and build reputation. He doesn't have to be nice, but the threats and the worst of the insults should stop.

I agree. Most RPGs have a player reputation. The traders should look at how many quest points the player has and react accordingly.
