HELLO TECH! I just got my Sony PMW-EX1R and shot some footage! My question is: I used an SXS Adapter to transfer my video mp4 files to my computer! The problem is the Palmcorder puts each take in a separate folder making, batch capturing impossible! Besides using the USB out in Media Mode, can I use the Fire Wire IDEE Output to do the same? Will Adobe Premiere recognize it and control it like it does with a Mini DV Cam? Is there an advantage of using a USB vs a Fire Wire IDEE?

I have a GY-HM650 with the 412 firmware. This allows for the camera to stream to the various stream types. I get a connection error, even though I have input the correct stream information. I have good connection through WIFI and can even remote control the camera from the phone (cell phone is the hotspot). Any suggestions on what is giving the connection error?
I honestly didn’t work with that camera, and I didn’t even download the new firmware so I honestly don’t know what the problem might be. If you went with these instructions it should work?!.

Honest advise, dont buy this camera unless you just wants to use it for normal video coverage, it doesnt stream shit directly on Facebook as advertised.
Don’t bother with the robot, your English is Ok the robot is a turn off.
