Anyone that's been in a boxing gym knows that the reasons you're sparring is to work on specific techniques. All sessions ain't all out wars. I've seen the little girls in the gym spar with the little boys.
@VonGOMD it does. I sparred a female pro boxer while working my left jab (my weaker hand). I was working on technique so wasn't throwing with any bad intentions. We had head gear and never threw my right. It's not as often but the other female boxers wasn't in that day so we got in a few rounds. I'm not saying that's the norm but from time to time it happens. She fights out of Detroit and she may spar the guys. She's trained by Harrison and they have some serious fighters up there. You from MD?
I seen her sparring session with guys they wasn't throwing punches back at her or really trying mostly doing defense, she was serious they where playing with her
