Before the Spyderco Watu, they made a larger version of what you have called the Chokwe, s30v, G10/Titanium handles, 3.75" blade. I had one and sold it.
Never had problems with coldsteel. The one you have is made by Windless. Look them up. Coldsteel does have a warranty if it doesn't hold a edge id contact them. That's another reason why they cost a bit more. One other thing you should try Coldsteel C clamps they are really good belt i use them on my SRK-C.
Thats good to know man, im honestly surprised by that. Whoever is making it did a terrible job. One of my coworkers has a cold steel dirk that was made 7-10 years ago and the difference is night and day. At the end of the day it's on cold steel for bad QC. I've seen other cold steel products made recently that just... aren't up to their old standard. Which is why I was a little harsh on this dirk. It's sad to see a great company starting to slip
Thank you for your presentation, always nice to watch this, i just want to ask you something -what happened when you did order the first strange knife of your collection (cold steel) were you sober? 😂
Cold Steel disappointed me with 2 Talwar Folding Knives I purchased from Amazon that has a issue with the Stop pin that effects the lock bar and I'm not happy with them about that. It's the first and only time I've had a issue that serious with Cold Steel GSM .
Hey you cant really blame Cold Steel for you buying that Scottish Dirk or however you spell it, i mean the thing just looks shit right off the hop lol. Im just busting yer balls dude, i have knives ive bought that are so shit i wouldnt show them to anyone lol. Good video man, keep up the good work:)
Haha yep😑. It's not the first time and it won't be the last time this happens lol. I'm definitely not buying anymore big knives/short swords from cold steel for a while
Appreciate honesty.
Thanks! I appreciate you letting me know
lol, I have that kyber/bowie knife thing too. Have know Idea where I got it and who made it. kinda cool though.
Get a Becker BK9 and BK2, a Bark River Bravo, a couple of TOPS and leave all this low quality stuff behind.

I don't like that cold skeel either lmao 😂😂😅😊🤷🏻♂️

Cold steel used to be great. But now it's all junk.i guess Lynn Thompson needed to skimp on material to buy more food.
The more I see of them the less impressed I am. They seem to just be coasting off their reputation and letting QC slip
Lynn Tompson sold the company.
cold steel is awful
😢
I don't think so. Just a nice working knives for the nice price.
Thier more pricey things are generally pretty good from everything I've seen, but I don't know for sure.
