I’ve been watching you for the last three or four years. I tried this method by pinning my strips and they did come out perfect thank you so much. Now I have perfect Irish chain.
"I am going to have a little visit with you." :) Got to have some in person quilting time with my mom for the first time in two years! She showed me how to use her featherweight. My Sequoia jelly roll would make a great baby quilt.

Would it be possible for you to turn your volume up a little.
I find that my strip piecing is pretty inaccurate (to my standards). I pin like crazy, but when I'm pressing, the strips get slightly wavy - probably not enough to cause issues, but it drives me batty!

I felt the same way myself, until I watched a video that suggested to start stitching from one end of the first two strips and when you add the next strip start your stitching at the opposite end. I found this helped me enormously ( just a suggestion).
Donna Jordan shows to finger press the seam and to lay straight on ironing board before pressing - has helped me a lot
