Hi! I went to Marcelito’s concert in Atlanta about two years ago. What an experience!!! First, he pulled up right beside my car and parked. I jumped out and ask for a pix with him. He stood and talked for a few minutes and I got several pictures. On stage, he is very funny and loves to interact with his audience. He tells his life story, which if you don’t know it you need to check it out. The only problem is he speaks very, very limited English but enough to get the gist of it. He supports many charities in the Philippines giving to the children, elderly and less fortunate. After the concert he stayed in the lobby and everyone that wanted a picture with him got one (including another for me!) He also sings THE PRAYER at everyone of his concerts because that is his way of acknowledging that his voice came from God.
What an experience. I would LOVE to see him live.

Immediately after AGT and the winner scandal covid hit. All of the concerts and performances were canceled. Post covid, Marcelito did several tours in the US and Europe, but he did not get the recognition that he should have. His wife was his manager, and i think that was part of it. No matter how talented you are in order to really break into the industry, you have to have the right manager, representation, and connections. She did a good job but this was beyond what she could do. I heard that he recently signed with a record label, and hopefully, this will be the break that he needs. The horrendous years of his childhood and being able to do what Marcelito has with absolutely no musical training of any kind really says it all. His kind and humble nature and his love and compassion that he spreads with his charity are who he is. His magnificent vocals touch everyone, and i believe it is because of who he is. I am a homebound disabled old lady, and i have outlived the rest of my family, but Marcelito truly brightens my life and touches my heart in a way that no other singer has.

Saw him for the 3rd time in Toronto June 21st. His voice is even better live. He is a must see. I told him in the back stage that his voice is even better from the last 2 concerts. He is VERY funny on stage and very engaging. Down to earth as well. I have seen Celine, Tom Jones, Stevie, Smokey, etc. His voice is better than any of them. Proud to be Filipino. I don't know why but he always makes me laugh. 😂 It's incredible. I think he could probably mimic any song by any singer.
I have made a request for you to react to the performance of Marcelito Pomoy on his concert in Miami, Florida where he covered the song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. He sang it with two different tones of his voice and in two different languages: Italian and English. Actually, the original Italian song was performed by Andrea Bocelli on a concert.
