I personally feel TATA group should acquire Cordelia or should start a cruise of their own in a small scale with maybe 3 ships. They have everything that goes in the ship from water bottle brands like bisleri to TAJ hotels for serving the customers with excellent food and stay experience. It will almost be like a TAJ hotel at sea for them. They also own worlds largest undersea cable networks and so internet at sea wont be a problem either. They can also launch special flight to the cruise ports at 40% discounts to attract customers from other cities. For shopping they do have even cloth brands and jewellery chains Tanishq. You covered everyhting in the ship without missing any details. I couldnt find one indian channel that did such a detailed walkaround of a cruise. Thank you.

According to me the things that you must carry are: 1) Travel Adaptors - note that all plug points have square pins so you will need a travel adaptor to use any electronic devices you may need. 2) Sunscreen- The views from the deck are the best. However in India there is always a lot of sun. So sunscreen is a must. 3) Cash- You must carry cash to pay for alcohol or paid experiences on the cruise. Most of the time the card machine won't connect to the internet and hence won't be usable. 4) Suitcase instead of a Rucksack- I was carrying a Rucksack as the cruise was a continuation of a longer trip I was having. Was the worst decision ever as the check in process was so tedious and very long. And you have to carry your bags all the way to your room so carrying a suitcase will be much easier. Hope this helps! Yes.. the price includes a buffets for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and midnight snacks. Any alacarte order at any of the restaurants will be charged. Also all alcoholic drinks are charged. Hope this helps

You will have to top up your room card at the reception and pay everything with your room card. 2) The speciality restaurants are very affordable and in line with the rates at Bangalore/Mumbai. 3) There is a kids area on the 6thbdeck where you can leave your kids. Hi Eileen, thanks for watching the video. This particular cruise ship, the Empress of the Seas, used to be part of the Royal Caribbean fleet up until a few years back. In terms of service there isn't anything lacking however in terms of amenities this ship is not really on par with Royal Caribbean's latest fleet. For instance, the interior rooms don't have virtual windows, there is only one pool and one theatre on board with the biggest difference is the Indian food and Bollywood/Indian entertainment. Hi Vimal, Fortunately for me when I traveled the cruise was less crowded and had 250 guests on board. However the total capacity is 1600 guests. I think that as the cruise gets more and more popular the crowds will start increasing. Right now since the cruise has recently launched the crowd is less. I just traveled. I don't think there is any facility to call home from the cruise. However, I maybe wrong so it would be better if you could call the Cordelia Cruises customer care to confirm this. I suggest you tell your family of the dates so that you don't have to call during this time.

Hi Aruna, I definitely recommend the cruise for a honeymoon. The setting is very romantic. On my trip I met many couples who were there either on their honeymoon or to celebrate an anniversary or birthday and they seemed to be having a great time. Hi Komal, 1. There are many different restaurants in the cruise with good vegetarian options. I didn't look specifically for Jain food but I think they should oblige and accommodate your needs. And about the paid food, the buffet restaurants are free. There are speciality restaurants for paid food. 2. Washrooms were clean. But the wash basin did drain fairly slowly. 3. Wait is long and seating is limited. This is a real sore spot. You can choose a more expensive room if you want to take the fast track boarding process. 4. They serve tiny bottled water. It's clean.
I did go solo. There was literally one other person on the ship who was traveling solo. So if you like to travel solo to make friends with other solo travelers then the cruise might not be something you would like. However if you like your own company the cruise is perfect for a solo trip. The staff is super friendly and the fellow guests will most likely make casual conversation with you once they cross paths with you during the innumerous activities that are organised on the ship. Plus imagine being able to lay down on a sun bed on the deck with 360 views of the sea while sipping on a beer and reading your favourite book. 😍 Also the spa therapies are great. I totally recommend getting the photoshoot done. Getting gorgeous pictures of yourself is a fantastic way to pamper yourself. I hope this helps. Regards, Senneil
Yes. They are very particular about getting an RTPCR report even if you are fully vaccinated. As a matter of fact, I boarded the Empress of the Sea on October 4. So my 48hours before included October 2nd which is a public holiday due to Gandhi Jayanti and October 3rd which was a Sunday. And I was in Udaipur on those two days so it was impossible for me to get an RTPCR done (I didn't know that certain areas don't have facilities for RTPCR 24*7) I called up customer services and tried finding other options like Genexpert or RAT but they were very adamant about getting an RTPCR done. Finally I got a Rapid RTPCR done at the Mumbai airport department terminal for Rs.4500 and got the results in 30mins. But seriously, avoid this unnecessary expenditure and go keep your RTPCR report ready.. Hope this helps! Have a safe and happy trip

I am sorry that you felt that way. However on the contrary, I fell in love with the cruise so much so that I came home to convince my entire family to plan a trip on the cruise in December. I think that it was definitely value for money. The AC was perfectly fine and I lived the live shows that I attended. I agree that the wifi isn't working. However, I don't think we can expect the wifi to work well in the middle of the ocean. Plus they definitely tell you that the wifi is spotty before you pay for it and they don't charge you if your wifi doesn't work at all.

And the various ports are Diu, Mumbai, Goa, Cochin and Lakshadweep.

Hi, the wifi cost me approximately 20 dollars. The network was spotty but I was able to make multiple calls home.
I don't think there is any facility to call home from the cruise. However, I maybe wrong so it would be better if you could call the Cordelia Cruises customer care to confirm this.
I suggest you tell your family of the dates so that you don't have to call during this time.

I am sorry that you felt that way.
However on the contrary, I fell in love with the cruise so much so that I came home to convince my entire family to plan a trip on the cruise in December. I think that it was definitely value for money. The AC was perfectly fine and I lived the live shows that I attended.
I agree that the wifi isn't working. However, I don't think we can expect the wifi to work well in the middle of the ocean. Plus they definitely tell you that the wifi is spotty before you pay for it and they don't charge you if your wifi doesn't work at all.
Very bad Experience with cordelia, they are very unprofessional. They Cansel the cruies two times & don't informed on time. What they showed here is Digital PR & Promotion Activity. The Guy Crimson Canvas is their Digital PR Person. Don't belive such PR Activity
