Glad to hear it!
Can't wait to try this!!!
Amy such talent!!
I just came across your channel and absolutely love it! I build miniature architectural replicas and have been experimenting with how to make a concrete looking finish, seems like antiquing a dark grey mikk paint over a lighter grey chalk might give me what im looking for!
Interested in Workshop! And Memphis! We need more Amy Howard in NJ...
Love your videos!! You really explain the process well. :) I watched in September of 2020; if you have a workshop in Memphis, I’d love to come!
I am interested in flipping furniture. Just found this video and I love the chippy look!
I am just finding your tutorials today and soaking in all the information and loving the informative stories.
I am starting with a chair that has been brought to bare wood. Would the whoor process be the same or do I need to apply a base coat of your one paint?
Hi Amy, what an amazing discovery to find you and your magical work!. I have been doing lots of furniture refurnishing project over the last five years. I love it and continue developing my skills. I would love to be taught and mentored by you if at all possible in any ways.
Love what you do! You make a big difference in this fasting world to be more interesting and calm....Hugs
Thank you so much!
Amy,
I would like to get back into buying and selling great furniture and decor. Love your furniture & decor finishes
Go for it!
I am coming to Memphis! Please tell me when? I have been waiting for this💖💖
#replay. I am loving your work and the Old World Finishing class.
I would love to learn from you!
I’m in Lafayette, California. I plan to paint the fabric on my dining room chairs.
Thank you!
I'm learning for my use. I actually have been acting on ideas on doing things (like floor painting/stenciling) etc, without realizing it was an actual thing that seems to be trending. I just couldn't afford a new floor and had a variety of paint leftovers...
Furniture flipper from Springfield, Missouri. 💕
Yes yes, I would love to turn my hobby into profit!
I'm already in Memphis..Ready when you are! :)
Absolutely love you!! Been using your paint for years. I appreciate your dedication to helping us learn.
This video is very shaky, not a steady hand filming? It was hard to watch honestly.
Thank you so much!
I just like to see the process.
I love refurbishing ANYTHING. !! And I would to do that I am ready to retire and will have time to really get into that love.
Love love love
I'm doing a happy dance. That's so ausome!!!
Thank you so much!
Great,... I bought 2 different milk paints for my guitar finish, which I crackled,... It worked out great and I love the finish, but I'm guessing you said to NOT use milk paint with crackle medium is because of the coverage.
I would love to come to Memphis!!
Can you use the wax on different paint then milk or chalk.❤️
I would be very happy to turn this as a hobby and profit also!
If you’re working on built-in cabinets, how do you do this finish on the sides or front?
Could you give any advice on getting rid of water strains?
I would love to sell just to cover the costs of using fun and new products, as this is very therapeutic for me
I want to come to Memphis!
Please consider using high resolutions for your videos.
Yes, I want to flip furniture! I’d actually like to open a little shop.
Nancy, I agree!
when is the workshop and get more details about it?
Can I use crackle gesso on ceramic or it is simply for wood pieces
I would totally come to Memphis for your classes! When? Dates?
I want to learn how to do faux wood graining on picture frames
When will you be doing your class in Memphis again? How much are the 3 day classes?
Can cracked Gesso be used under chalk paints too?
Can Minwax Polycrylic be used over milk paint?
Love your stories, but im getting so stressed because i have done up a few pieces now, and i basically just sanded down and painted with emulsion, and they were fine, and i did the upholstery for chairs and these pieces were for me only, but now i want to try to sell some, but i just dont have the money to buy all these products, i bought meth spirits and white spirits and linseed oil as videos suggested cleaning wood with that if not painting, and i have a few chairs but after paying for sanders and nail guns and fabric, my budget is stretched. I bought some beautiful paint today and some coloured wax...what would you suggest i need on a budget?
I would love to learn how to flip restored furnished pieces...how do I do that??
I would like to get the bundle.
I’m coming to Memphis
Can I come to you and take a class? AMAZING!
yes please!
Late to the party but happy dancing anyway. 💃
Dotti from Calif ❤️❤️❤️❤️
thanks sweet Lady
Any time!
I’m coming to memphis.
How is the process to get the color u jump and jum
I have a love for vintage furniture but don't know much about choosing paint for them. Don't want to take away the vintage look. I have started out with a table which stands about 14 1/2 tall.
Can I apply 2 coats over the jesso?
I plan to use the Venetian plaster with milk paint on a few walls, small room. Is this a bad/good idea?
This will actually work. If you need a quick how-to video, here you go! czcams.com/video/OoPpT2i05Aw/video.html
I want to come to Memphis
what is the name of the blue milk pain
Beautiful ! ... and let's save our beautiful English language too ! We need those "adjectives" to preserve our way of speaking, don't you agree ? Furniture, language and civilized behavior - all add up for a gentile society worth handing down to the next generation ! Thank you so much for all that you give Amy .
Yes I desire to flip furniture kinda scared though 😆
You can do it, Audrey!
It started out by accident with we've finishing Our breakfast table. As set some pictures to people and they really love it there is people asking us to refinish their tables we finishing their bedroom furniture the headboards and so far only done a couple pieces but yes I am very instead in more knowledge about how to sell the stuff to people. Could you are right law the stobie go the furniture stores even design for just towards look inside yet might be some hardware on the outside when you open up inside a lot is particle wood. So I will love the game were knowledge of how to sell my hobby for extra..
😍
I would love the idea of making some money I have tried for ages and do pieces in my own apartment but my problem is I have nowhere to store things and also isn't it costly shipping etc...
I have just stenciled my kitchen floor and bathroom too - tiny but I just LOVE it.... taken nearly a lifetime for me to actually enjoy what I am doing....
Is the 1 Step paint chalk paint?
Yes, the One Step paint is a chalk based paint!

Here you go www.amyhowardhome.com/collections/milk-paint/products/wisteria-milk-paint!
I would love to start making money flipping furniture.

me
I need to come to Memphis, dates please?
Emerill
Great job but you need a better camera!
Love you to death Amy, I so get your "dragged down the street" but it sells, and people don't understand the old worn and aged with multiple layers look. I have done both finishes and the worn layers pieces either don't sell, or takes forever. My opinion, I see pretty much of all the artisans that sand off and do that technique to there pieces, they get the wows and the likes. Or maybe I don't master the technique enough that buyers don't desire my piece.. Could be that! I can be real...
Shorter stories please I think I have ADHD! LOL
She is marketing and selling more than ANYTHING else!
