My favorite part about Ray is that he's amazing at games, but will always leave the room whenever he sees a spider

I love Ray hearing the absolute perfection that is the Director's Cut Basement theme for the first time. It's one of those "you HAVE to see/hear it to believe it" things, and I'm so glad he got to experience it.
Such a great game; so glad this kickstarted Ray's desire to play through all the classic RE games.

I love seeing how the trend of Ray going "we are just doing one playthrough" to "Hey here's 10 more playthroughs because I like this" started.
My favorite part about this playthrough is how much he bitches and complains about this game, then ends up playing, and loving almost every RE game, and even calls this one one of his favorite games. Such a Ray moment, I love it :)
I still love the "hey bro what's up" or something like that and the zombie throwing up. I rewatched that many times in the past.

Ray is literally the only reason why I’ve been able to play the RE series without shitting myself 😂
Still to this day, the Resident Evil 1 Remake is the scariest game that I ever played, and I personally played a ton of other horror games which is saying a lot

I was born in July of 98! so this always hits me in the I’m old.

I know Ray never checks CZcams comments but just maybe he'll see this: I remember him wanting more classic style RE games like 1 and hope he chrcks out Tirmented Souls which captures that feel expertly in my opinion. It even has most of the same type of achievements.
He actually does check CZcams comments since he even responded and heart some comments.

This game is really not my style with how jarring and disconnected those cameras are, not to mention the very very limited view it gives (talk about 0 control). Ray's commentary is just amazing, it just makes it 10 times more entertaining.

This legit looks like the most boring/bullshit to play RE game in existence... I get back then they wanted games "Hard"..... but "Let's make a Zombie game! You get just about no ammo! And if you actually kill a zombie, they come back stronger!"
"So how do you play?"
"You just dodge around the zombie... they don't have to worry about the camera, we'll do it for them so they can focus completely on just dodging! It's genius!"
Edit: I'm not 14 mins into the video, I just now remembered about "Ink Ribbons" just to have a real big "FUCK YOU" to the player. "Get killed by an off screen zombie? Well just reload a save....also you can only save if you have a specific items and remember to go through all those zombies you didn't want to kill to be able to save...no problemo for these amazing gamers!"
Oh hey, welcome young one. This is a remake of the first resident evil ever made. They didn't even have a genre for this type of game when it came out and thus the "survival horror" is born.
What you're seeing is tank controls, it's something that you'll find in a lot of games from that era. Also, Ray is playing on normal, I think easy has it so you have unlimited ink ribbons.
I'm nearly 30 I'm not that young lol but I did miss out until re 5 since I was a generic CoD/Halo little kid who'd scream your mom at everyone.....maybe I am still young
