Best movie of the year so far, hands down. The soundtrack, action, humor, chemistry, depth, and emotion was all top-notch. Great movie, highly recommended.

even though not everybody liked ronan, i think he was brutal as the villain but i would like to see more of backstory behind his motivations to make him more relatable and what drives him mad. karen gilian as nebula was underutilized
I agree. He was definitely one if the better marvel villains, and definitely better than that elf guy from Thor the Dark World, who had no personality at all.

marvel movies are great i just wish they would put a little more character development to the villains!
lee pace was great as ronan but he was on camera like 5 minutes on the entire movie.
Yeah but most villian has one movie and there have to focus on the hero. The only reason health ledger joke was good was because if you make a guy who is crazy and done right it is good. But none of the villian was crazy enough and loki had a motive. Think about it loki is needed in the thor franshice and so there have time to build him. And if u think about it batman villian are good because it focus on them too much. But in marvel moves there focus on loki aand thor. That why we understand them so much. It depends on screen time and what the writer/actor show and express in that time.
ricky agyekum people also like the relation between the hero like joker is batman jin. The same goes for loki. Nebula too he had relationship with the vilian. If there will have focus more on drax and the villian then the villian will be good. Drax solo movie anyone. Drax avengers is family and looking for thanos.

Agreed! I wanted to see more Ronan cause i think he was great in GotG, but felt he wasn't shown enough on screen. I mean how badass was he when he defied Thanos! damn freaking Thanos man! he was so in his face haha so cool.

I didn't like James Gunn's previous films but I consider him a legend after seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. He'll probably do a few sequels and make a load of amazing films after that

Movie's great, Marvel movies are generally good with a few exceptions, but none of them really have great villains. Not even Loki is that great. And I guess it because most of Marvel's best villains are owned by Sony and Fox.

jahleel breland Loki's considered the best Marvel movie villain simply because he was in the Avengers (film, duh) and is the only villain (apart from thanos) to recur, most are trashed after 1 movie.
