This bike is overdue by about 5 years, but better later than never. I'm getting one. ❤
I love that this doesn't have a keyless fob. That alone makes this bike a winner in the market for me. Great Job Suzuki.
Wow! Stunning design! Well done Suzuki! Now there's absolutely no reason to buy a Versys 1000, and you'd have to really want DCT and be blind to buy the NT.
I understand comparing it to the Versys 1k / XR1k but not the NT...the NT is a tottaly different package with 50 odd less bhp
@@alexanderpearce5860 I completely agree about the NT. The NT is a totally different story. Rode it. Can check it.
Wow, i honestly did not expect it to be a suzuki just from the pic! Looks great!!
I bought my first Suzuki in 1980, a GSX 750 and had quite a few since. They've all been great bikes and not a problem with any of them. Seriously looking at this GSXS 1000GX.
They make solid and reliable bikes. Had the SV650 3rd gen and it was perfect. Drop by, you may like my content.
Still riding my 82 GS650G. I wish Suzuki would bring back shaft drive bikes like my GS.
@@admiralbeez8143 That would be great. There is a lack of shafts in the bike world. Drop by bro, you may like my content.
Looks nicer than the GT imo.
just came in from pulling tires off of the Bandit 1250 and saw this...Center stand? Cool. The B1250 finally has a real successor...really cool that Suzuki is listening to the people.
I was thinking the same thing. This looks like best highway commuter and a damn fine touring bike. I hope it shows up in the US, where I don’t see another worthwhile upgrade. The combination of looks, performance, price, and reliability has me excited.
About time that Suzuki joined the semi active suspension crowd
Bravo from suzuki, i am a bmw owner 15 years now and I amvery considering this bike. I love the fact that you respect the owner and give him a full spec bike without stealing him. Well done.
Well presented thank you. Suzuki are really lifting their game and becoming one of the modern motorcycle standouts. Love these Gixxer engines may be close to 20 year old technology but one best engines around
Go Suzuki! 👍
Beautiful bike at a reasonable price! Good job Suzuki!
I yet have to throw a leg over a Suzuki that I didn’t end up liking. Robust, reliable, and brilliantly executed motorbikes. My only wish for this K-5 engined beast is for Suzuki to incorporate an overdrive sixth gear, screaming on the highway in 6th gear on longer trips…well you know the rest.
Great looking bike and I’m sure it’ll be just as good as my current GT, so I’ll be looking to trade my GT for the new GX in the new year 👍
It’s a sharp looking bike, how many letter configurations can they make with the same powertrain? I’d grab it over the XR any day
Finally a nice design! Bravo Suzuki!
You just know its going to be an awesome Bike who cares about radar cruise control thats for the old people I defo will be having a look at this beauty nice job Suzuki.
One BAD thing: The headlights. Or rather, lack OF them. The eastern US roads, especially closer to cities, are INSANE these days; many oncoming drivers (and the ocean of DEER we have) will NEVER notice that tiny pin-prick of light, no matter how bright. It's not all about Candlepower.. you need AREA.. VOLUME.
best looking bike from Suzuki, gonna really want to test drive this one next year
Great looking bike! 👍
Wow! It looks amazing!
what a beauty!
Looks terrific, would choose this over an XR- I think this will become Suzuki's biggest seller. Paul, what Dan is skating around in his question is- when is the Suzuki variable valve timing coming to the engine ;-)
Wow this looks gorgeous
Was about to get a versys1000 but upon scrolling I stumbled on this video, gotta admit this got me on hold from getting the V1K 😆..waiting for specs videos 👌
I have a Versus and a Katana. I love the Katana for sporty riding but for touring the Versys engine is silky smooth compared to the K5.
Just wow!!
Awesome video! Beautiful bike for sure! Best!
Great to see Suzuki upping their game. 👍
This is more in the class of the Ducati Multistrada and BMW XR but at a better price. Nice job Suzuki. The segment is a bit crowded but this is a great offering.
I’d take heated grips over radar cruise any day of the week.
Looks a good deal for the spec. I had a gsxs1000f, one of the best engines I've experienced.
Genial!! Excelente trabajo👍🏻✨
Super looking bike with a brilliant engine and high-tech equipments with Suzuki reliability. I hope riding dynamics are good too and that'll make this bike an easy sell.
A couple of years ago, Suzuki really only had the Hayabusa that I was interested in. Now there's a whole bunch. Good for them. I can't see myself staying with Honda for my next bike, that's for sure.
@@hoihoihoi1951 Nothing major, there's just not much that I find interesting. I love the bike I have now.
This is what I love about Suzuki! And they’ve finally brought the styling up to date 💥
Fantastic, and such a surprise! Now do the outdated drz400S, and SM.
im probably gonna get one of these.
Looks stunning. Make sure you check out the green version - thats even better!
I still have one of the best sport tourers, no electronics or other rider aids and the most fun, Triumph Sprint 1050ST
What a sweet bike !
A stunner from Suzuki! This will sell bucket loads! Great to see them upping their game. I’ll be after a test ride.
Wow excellent!
Yeah. Great addition and definitely interested. What about gearing? Any different?
Nice! Very nice. If offered at a competitive price this bike will be very popular indeed!
Beautiful bike!!!
It is a great looking bike, but in my humble opinion there are details that make it a really good one, like the center stand, luggage capabilities, the effectiveness of the windscreen, the comfort of the seat... Will see. We should wait for now. Otherwise a great video. Enjoyed it.
So does the traction control also work when leaned over?
Looks better than the new gs 1300
Es una demostración excelente
Suzuki onto a winner here
Wow, Finally they made it ! 🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love Suzuki
Wow, I was actually excited when I saw this bike yesterday and thought it would be a great option for us aging ex-sport rider guys who grew up on gixxers. I own a few bikes including a Multistrada with skyhook suspension (which is excellent) and was happy to see Suzuki finally added virtually identical active susp. to their lineup. However, I can't get over the price for this one here in the states, and I think Suzuki really missed the mark on it if I'm honest. $18,500 + destination ($540), dealer fees, and taxes puts this bike in the low $20k range. Looks like you also need to shell out for heated grips, good seat, etc. For this price I'd expect (everything!) steel brake lines (no idea why Japanese bikes rarely have these), hydraulic clutch, adjustable windscreen, higher level brembo front brakes, a rear brembo brake, etc. I believe they looked around the market and priced it based on the "adventure sport" competition, but for what's basically a chassis/bodywork redesign with an 18 yr old engine I'm struggling to see how this bike is worth $20k, let alone $4,500ish more than the 1000GT+ they just came out with last year. Is it worth $2k more than a Tracer 9 GT+? Also while I'm complaining about nothing, I wish all mans. would copy KTM and just show pro riders doing wheelies and stunts on their bikes - these marketing guys trying sell motorcycles by explaining the pedantic details in the manual no one ever reads is excruciating.
Is there a comparable NEW bike that is cheaper? As as solo rider I would probably go with the Tracer GT if I wanted to save a little money or the S1000xr for a little more. (for now I will keep my Multistrada 1260 Enduro)
@@NorCalSaint Yeah for sure the Tracer is up there. For this $, I would also look at the KTM SDGT (on sale I've seen them around $16-17k new), and the Guzzi Mandello S can be had with semi-active Ohlins, steel lines, power screen for $17,500. The Yammy and Guzzi are down on power, but probably just as fun with more real world power. I mean at $18,5 you're inviting pretty much everyone to the party.
@@zakw3637 Also there are a lot of complaints with this K5 motor having timing chain auto adjuster noises after the 1st oil change with the GT's and Suzuki is just ignoring it, saying it's normal. Yamaha CP motors have been proven to go 200,000 miles plus reliably.
Excelente video
I have a Versus and a Katana. I love the Katana for sporty riding but for touring the Versys engine is silky smooth compared to the K5. TFT screen better on this bike though.
welcome to the party, about bloody time! now all we need is yamaha's R1 version !!!
Will the active suspension lower the height at stops or stiffen the fork under braking to reduce dive?
Don't think it will lower it however there is some blurb about it reducing fork dive under braking
holy smokes, that is a nice looking bike. Very futuristic/modern looking without not weird or trying to hard to be different.
It looks awesome
Esa moto es preciosa ❤
Excelente video genial 😁 👍
Imagined this style for so long
Fark I'm Impressed
Hermosa moto
stunning design as usual....good job suzuki
Informative; well done. How does all this technology add to the cost of ownership?
Gran trabajo 👌
Great looking bike and loads of tech on it,suzuki is gonna hit the jackpot with this one.
Totalmente alucinante 🥇🤘🏻
Nice job Suzuki. Fully support continued iterations of such an awesome motor, that should not be thought of simply in terms of time since first inception. Bang for your buck, is unbeatable with this bike and radar assist needs more time in the market, to identify weakens in its application, before being rolled out as a stable (I can think of at least two previous riding situations where radar assist would have been a serious problem, so I'm almost certain there are more).
I like this!!!!
Hermosos modelos de moto
looks good
Exelente modelo de moto 🏍️👍
It looks so good
Well done Suzuki. Finally ❤
Very nice. Come on Yamaha, time to bring back the Tracer 1000.
I can not wait to try one it is the bee's knees 👌💯💯💯👍
Now I can trade off my Tracer 900 GT....finally. Bravo, Suzuki ;) ;)
Oh si 😮 Suzuki lo máximo
Beautiful motorcycle
Hermosa moto 🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
Una de las mejores motos 🏍 😎
That k5 is a perfect engine but i don't get why is Suzuki not using that gsx r 1000 rr engine that has more power and would be really much more competitive.
Excelente
6 axis imu! Does it have lean sensitive abs?
Nice bike. I think IF Suzuki bring out a new GSXR1000, this & the new GSX8R are a good indication of the tech it will have & what it'll look like. Interesting times again for Suzuki it seems.
Qué bonita moto
Lindo modelo de 🏍️, debe de tener buena velocidad.
damn. suzuki are coming out swinging. this is going to be a great option for many bikers. maybe my 2016 S1000XR is getting an upgrade
Hermoso Fierro🤗
The spec sounds fantastic and looks great it's about time the Japanese manufacturers started producing exciting bikes again, my only criticism is they could have been more adventures with the colour scheme. Well done Suzuki can't wait to see it in the showrooms.
That’s a very nice looking motorcycle
Tracer killer!
Wow finally a nice front grill
Linda moto
For a long time I have been waiting for a Japanese equivalent of the BMW S1000XR and now finally we have one. I will most likely upgrade my Tracer 900GT to this Suzuki when it becomes available.
Cool
Mi pasión mi vida mi mundo que hermoso la ingeniería automotriz totalmente la nueva era en el mundo amantes de la. Tegnologia felicitaciones por cambiar al mundo de una manera. Fácil de vivir diferentes
Suzuki is finally upping their game it seems. It has always seemed that you were getting a very reliable product but with some budgetary concessions. Doesn't seem that way anymore. What they've been coming out with has given their brand a much needed boost to a rather long in the tooth line up. Now even more of a fan of Suzuki! Great job and keep up the good work Suzuki!
I think that Suzuki and Honda have had a little conversation and come out with the understanding that Suzi are tryna build on quality while Honda on value. The rivalry (which is organised by them, Hornet vs 8S, etc) is good for both brands but its interesting how the roles have sort of reversed with Suzi being the more premium brand now. My guess is that this push to quality costs them to the group, so to free up the funds they have given up on racing
Agreed, defo a contender to comparable brands
@@hisride I hadn't realized they had given up on racing. Sad.
Meanwhile, Yamaha is wiping them both out on product, reliability and price.
@@tg8150 :) maybe...but not looks imo. Yamaha is a hell of a brand though.
