The time is finally here! We play ANKI DRIVE!!
Mike, Chase, Dad & our neighbor try out Anki drive for pretty much the first time! We check out some upgrades, go head to head in 15 & 30 race laps and we battle too! Chase decides to throw Polly-O string cheese in the mix, literally! So we lots of fun with the dairy weapons towards the end of the video!

Thank you. By this video you answered one important question for me. How do these cars recognize the track boundaries. By dropping string cheese on the track you proved that there is no robot vision system in play (expensive battery drain). So I figure the track uses a passive or active RFID chip pair or trio to triangulate the position of the car relative to the track boundaries. And then uses Bluetooth to regulate the car remote control and there probably is a low-power Bluetooth network to ID relative car positions (or cheap passive RFID chips to tag out relative "closeness" for managing collision control against other cars). It could use the iPhone cameras, but that also is battery draining with no guarantee that the user is pointing the camera at any of the cars or track.
