I would love to see Gearbox do remakes for Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel with Borderlands 3 graphics and mechanics(weapon reloads, sliding, parkour etc).
Allegiance play throughs should be an optional mode in borderlands games. Like you turn it on and the selected manufacturer gets some percentage rarer but also some percentage more powerful. would be a lot of fun.
I finished a Dahl Moze run awhile back. I had everything corrosive and had radiation and fire anointments of my gear and had a Moze the Melter build. It was actually able to do Mayhem 11 decently well. Good luck on your run as well!!!
Dahl weapons are remarkably hit or miss. It's such a shame that only a handful are viable in Mayhem difficulties. Night Hawkin is probably one of my favorites for doing the story mode because it's a face melter, but it just tickles enemies on M11.
Fun fact, due to how damage typing in BL3 works, Normal damage has no downsides against most enemies, unlike in previous games. So the minigun and missiles are going to be the best picks early on. Once you get the option to use chain lightning railguns however, those should be your go-to since the way it chains your shots make them deal a lot more damage more reliably. I have destroyed many bosses using said chain lightning.
I think for allegiance runs, maybe you could base the shields that you can use off of BL2. Obviously shields work a bit differently but if the main effect of the shields matches the BL2 then I think that's what you go for Dahl - Booster Vladof - Absorb Hyperion - Amp Maliwan - Elemental Resistance / Nova Torgue - Explosive Nova COV - Roid Damage What do people think?

Great timing, I just started a Zane Dahl allegiance build last week. I didn't get incredibly great drops like the Breath of the Dying but when I went to Athenas the Black Market Vending Machine was there and I picked up a lvl 14 Venomous Hornet. Went back after story complete and farmed a new Hornet, took it through DLC1 and absolutely melts loaders.
Your problem with Cub is you need to use Salamander, beam or rocket pod, and you need to invest a bit into purple tree to make it work, but its great in endgame

Dahl Moze is what I started BL3 with playing with my best friend who likes going Amara, we call his Amara Toxic Shock because he’s shock and acid and the obvious double entendre. Went straight down the green tree for matching set and never reload or stop shooting if I’m out of the bear. Favorite mob encounter move is having my bud on the back of the bear and mowing people down and about halfway through he jumps off and slams with his skill to bring the acid fists up.
Ok so what do I think Borderlands 4 should have... LOOT LUCK! Scatter like 750 lucky skag feet to find all over the worlds. And ClapTrap needs more lines, more cut scenes. In fact he should be a companion that follows you around talking the whole time. And more fetch quests that span several planets. Heavier RPG mechanics like needing to eat and sleep and bathe. And the game should constantly be discussing modern social issues. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Seriously now... maybe some light stealth mechanics, so you can snipe and not alert every single enemy to send them charging to your exact position. Being able to pay to level up an old weapon you wanna keep would be cool, make it so it can only be done once for no more than 10 levels or something, so it can't be abused and it doesn't ruin farming. I liked the multi-class thing in Wonderlands. Be cool to be able to pick one tree from another class. Or maybe be able to research individual perks from other class trees.
My first playthrough in BL3 was a Jakobs allegiance Zane. That goes perfectly well My second playthrough is a Dahl allegiance Moze and I ended doing what you did and save quit to skip the long ass Dialoge at the end of the game before the final mission and that broke the game. Now I either wait for my busy friend to help or I restart It's just funny now I can both retroactively and proactively warn you

Oooh, hey at one point, try using only corrosive Dahl weapons like the hornet or the kaos, like a Dahl vs Hyperion type thing, cause Hyperion mainly make things that are weak to corrosion
I love dahl, i always loved the burst fire gimmick from bl2 and bl1 and in bl3 Dahl just feels so good. Sorry but not srry i just love guns that could actually be guns in rl (no blame for the other manufacturer's tho)

If Moze came from the Vladoff Corp and Vladoff made Iron Bear/Cub then the play through is invalid because you used a Vladoff weapon in a Dahl play through. Lol, j/k

At least there are more viable Dahl AR’s and SMGs in the endgame than there are viable Dahl legendaries in BL2.

Cub Club member here, you discovered Cub likes playing with his food. Also that Breath of the Dying looks like it has the good parts.
I despised Dahl Weapons in BL2. They just had no impact and felt really unsatisfying.
But I LOVE them in BL3. They feel sooooo good.
Dahl weapons had the biggest glow up in BL3 I swear. Loved using them my entire playthrough.

Yes if not going Vladof Moze and going Brrr then go Dahl Moze. Bottomless Moze with either Vladof or Dahl is a great time in BL3.
