GIANT PROJECT IN CAGAYAN DE ORO! Filipino University Food Trip With My Old Neighbor!

- THERE IS A GIANT COASTAL ROAD PROJECT THAT IS ALMOST COMPLETE IN CAGAYAN DE ORO!
This is a raw day in my life in Cagayan de Oro. I was running errands around the city, when I decided to stop by the new road project... IT IS BIG! Supposedly in just a few months this will be open. Do you know what was already open though? Bodings awesome taco stand! Although not at his regular location. I found him and his "Rotunda Professional Squatters Association" at a Festival in Liceo De Cagayan University! It was so great to check out his food, and see the other great food stands that usually set up along side him in the Rotunda area!
Here are the food stands:

- Quirky Streatery
- Kape Rolls Sa Dalan
- Cafe Alindanaw
- Yo.Yakitori
I will feature them all again at Rotunda someday so you can see their full setup!
After a Filipino University food trip, I head off to help Bret, check out Uptown, and then find myself being driven back to the airport. I am off to Manila once again!

A very outstanding project thanks to Japanese contractors, they are implementing the projects following the tight construction standards, we can feel that what is budgetted goes to its intended items of work. Japanese contractors we are proud to have this project hope other projects will follow.
Japanese-backed infrastructure projects are always the best. Reliable, on time, with none of the drama and corruption from other investors.

Food in the Philippines is so good. Im in California and have lived here half my life now, but I can say that Pinoy food and its varieties of flavors are the best

Developing countries like the Philippines are so fun to be in. 5 years and you see enormous changes in the landscape. Compare it to North American cities where barely anything gets built these days.

Ha ha ha oo Kulas, si "La-gin-ding-an"! Silent na lang ang "u". Sa Desyembre 30 maglupad ko sa Australia gikan sa Laguindingan sa Maynila ug Maynila sa Sydney. Sa Newcastle New South Wales ako kauban sa ang akong pamilya sa New Year's Eve !

The sound of air conditioning in a hot summer afternoon in December eating fresh tropical fruits is my childhood; I miss it. Canada's winters on the other hand...terrible lol.

CDO could be a metro city if it can improve its traffic management 😊. It has 2 SM malls: uptown and downtown 😊, plus one Ayala Mall (Centrio with Rustan’s), and several other big malls.

I dont know if somebody has told you of this memory but back in the first years of 2000s, municipalities in Misamis Oriental used to have this christmas decoration competition along the national highway and it was magical to see since the christmas lights never stopped from lugait until cagayan de oro! Those were the years that it was fun to have night time road trip and you can really feel christmas season that even houses along the national highway would really decorate their houses to join the christmas vibe. 💫

Always been a fan of mixed fruit stalls inside the mall! GuyaMango is something I'd like to try next time! My favorite combinations are guyabano+watermelon+kiwi 😁
I used to live in CDO, Forest View for 3 years, returned to Ireland in 2016. Watching your videos brings back the memories. CDO has changed but still the same if you get what I mean? I recognise the areas but they're different at the same time. Used to love going to the SM which is now SM Uptown

I live near SM Kulas and those horses had been there long before SM was there and all the new buildings. In the church area, there used to be a small landing strip used by RC enthusiasts, I love biking in that area.
