McDonald’s Franchise Owners Are Not Lovin’ All-Day Breakfast:
All-day breakfast at McDonald’s received a hero’s welcome among fans of the fast-food restaurant, but franchise owners within the restaurant chain are all not pleased.
A recent survey of the owners found that the new menu, which features breakfast favorites like Egg McMuffins and hotcakes, is slowing down service, causing chaos in the kitchen, and driving away customers. What’s more, franchisees complain they aren’t reaping much financial benefit due to the low cost of most breakfast menu items.
“All-day breakfast is a non-starter. We are trading customers down from regular menu to lower-priced breakfast items. Not generating new traffic,” one franchise owner wrote, according to Business Insider.
The all-day breakfast menu launched nationwide on Oct. 6, though the menu varies depending on region (in some areas McMuffins are offered all day, but in others customers can only buy biscuits). Bigwigs in the corporation have hailed the change as a success, but if the complaints of owners is any guide-it hasn’t been as smooth for those who have to crack the eggs.

For one every restaurant has a time limit to have the food made and put out and for two it's the workers job to make sure that he gets his food in a bag with napkins and if he ordered a drink then the work has to give a straw in the bag. Was a manager for Hardee's until they closed down in my area i didn't want to drive 40 minutes away to go to a job so i found another job but I would get on to my employees for not putting napkins and a straw or straws in the bag.

In the UK, McDonald's have little tables in the restaurants where you can go get your sauce, straws and napkins. I'm p sure they have these in the USA. I hope he realizes that McDonalds is so cheap and fast due to how simple and streamlined their menu is SUPPOSED TO BE. That also makes them so popular. Now they can only serve their huge volume of costumers by keeping it quick and simple. If Jack in the Box or a diner adds something or does all day breakfast it doesn’t matter cause they don’t have nearly as many customers, and diners can take basically as long as they need to cook.
It's so annoying the way you sulk like a child over food that is late or not up to your standards. Fair enough that stuff is annoying but don't whine yourself just cos you're used to instantaneous gratification and your life that is an all day eternal buffet of food.
