the last collab i did pre-pandemic was a sufjan song with oisín (2 years ago! YIKES) so this feels like some bizarre full-circle moment lol

i think the perfection of stevens and de augustine and the beauty of this album is legitimately on the same level of any Simon & Garfunkel work...and really love this collab sammy..hope u'll do more of this stuff..
Sammy, I'm so glad you're posting again. I hope, though, you are not too frustrated with the yt push algorithms. I do not normally comment, but I think your music deserves to be heard by a much larger audience.
As you probably know, it will take some time and a few good posts of your beautiful music to gain some push-momentum again. Gaining some traction with the algorithms again can take some time after a lull in posts.
Two important components of the push algorithms are Personalization and Performance. Personalization mostly comes from the presence of your content in users' recent view histories, which of course, will be reduced without recent posts. Performance comes from watch time durations, qty of likes, interaction, and survey results.
Increasing the frequency of your posts will, of course, increase your prominence in watch histories. This will have a feedback effect and raise the impact of the Personalization component of the push algorithm. In addition, this will have an impact on the Performance component as well. This is especially true for you Sammy, due to the quality of your music. (Let's face it. Your music will get a lot of likes and a lot of watch time)
Finally another thing to consider is the yt search algorithm. This is where posting covers of classic hits can really helps. This brings new people to your channel and feeds into the first two components of the push algorithms. (This is especially true for older hits that are not over played on yt - Alone Again Naturally is a good example)
You probably already know these things, and I am not giving you any new information. You may not even care about these things. I don't know, but like I said, though, I really think that music like yours deserves to be spread all over the globe. Your singing, your talent, your writing is really something special Sammy!!
