    Why isn't mine displaying the SSID? How do fix this? I have tried a different power supply and rebooting it as well but still no SSID?

    Also from this video, it's still not clear to me how this device ought to be reset. One part just shows the dongle the other displays a software and it does not explain how it got there in the first place

      Please follow the steps below for reset the dongle.
      Step 1. Please download the repair tool from drive.google.com/open?id=1Zi6leAe_VVMdbWnSekxngHPR-YUE5456
      Step 2. Run the file inside the zip of "EZUpdate"
      Step 3. Take a USB cable (charging cable for Android) to connect to the dongle body Micro usb port
      Step 4. Hold on the button on the dongle and connect the USB type A port to the Windows laptop (connecting to the Internet already).
      Step 5. You will find the "EZUpdate" will appear "Check" version
      Step 6. Click "Check version" and you will find server version and MiraScreen version.
      Step 7. Select "Reset to default setting"
      Step 8. Click "Upgrade"

    Hey, when I want to connect to the device I need to connect devices wi-fi from my iphone right? When I connect the wi-fi how can I access to internet? I can’t because it says you are already connected to a wifi and when I quit the devices wifi the screen sharing stops. What can I do about this?

    My Mirascreen using perfectly fine until today Im just unplug my tv then when i turned it on again my Mirascreen stuck at logo with black screen. Do you know why and how to fix it?

      If you get a black screen once plug the cable to your iPhone/iPad, please reboot your phone then try it again.
      This issue may due to some setting wrong of your phone.

    I chnged the resolution in my mirascreen to 1080 30 Hz then my device stop working, i try many times to do rest as the procedure in this video but the EzUpdste.exe after click check version is always not responding. Any advice please

      Please take a new one USB cable rather connect by the Wi-Fi antenna (Y-cable) directly.

    I have problems.

    I got this massage even I use a good adapter, it’s rebooting then giving the same massage then rebooting and it keeps doing the same
    ( wifi abnormality encountered suggest to use external usb power adapter to guarantee power supply )

      Another way please check the connection between dongle and WiFi module is stable.

      Thank you for fast response, I don’t have the time to connect it to WiFi it keeps rebooting in 30s and says auto reboot in 30 seconds and the time is counting down until rebooting. And I tried Samsung adapter and iPhone and iPad adapters nothing working, I tried the reset button but didn’t work too, should I connect it to laptop and install a firmware?!

    Ok, after one month successfully using it, all of a sudden when I turn on my TV, the screen is black. I cannot do anything. Nothing appears under the screen mirroring of my iPhone/Mac also. What can I do? There is only one button on the device and I pressed it to reset for 20-30 seconds but nothing happens. Can you help me?

    Bendeki de AynCast 2 yıldır iyiydi şimdi tv yi görmüyo yani tv tanımıyo başkatvye taktım gene tanımadı ne yapalım ışığı yanıyo normalde. Buna bi reset atılsa kendine gelirmi acaba yada yazılım mı atalım önerileriniz nedir bu konuda uzman arkadaşlara soru !!!!

    Been trying to get windows 10 to even see any-cast m2 mirascreen....I can see it on wifi channels but not as wireless display (am in miracast mode). I can connect to the display in airplay mode over wifi (I'm networking via ethernet). My local wifi router is a different channel. I can't seem to update the firmware even though I can connect to the device in airplay mode. Cannot connect in miracast mode. Cannot even see the wireless display. I've searched online but cannot find any support for this. Doesn't seem to exist on the any-cast website either.

      Please check your Mirascreen dongle's mode is in Airplay mode(Apple icon).
      In Miracast mode(Android / Windows icon), it's no Wi-Fi access and just support Miracast P2P connection, you could change mode by press the button on Mirascreen dongle.
      Furthermore, we suggest use the external 5V/1A power adapter instead of TV USB port to provide more stable power supply and wifi connection.

      @@MiraScreen Jees....I just said I got that set correctly. I use an external adapter.... I'm an engineer. I tried all those...however....I did discover the undocumented method of handling this....you should release a document on this.
      First, leave it in airplay mode. connect to the device on wifi. go to the IP address suggested. Connect to your own wifi network on the webpage suggested and enter the password. This sets up the dongle to connect to your network. Reboot the dongle. Then run ezplay and connect to the now visible miracast device. Select screen mirroring on. Now try upgrade of the firmware....works after the preceding steps....reboot will hang, just wait 30 minutes and manually reboot the dongle. So, I can screen mirror using ezplay in airplay/dnla mode. It's kinda spotty. I haven't tried miracast again, now that I have things kinda working....I also haven't played with resolution to make the video and audio less spotty. Put this comment in your non-existent online docs...LOL

    after reset mirascreen cannot be detected anymore . the reason for resetting it because , my dongle stuck in android cast when i press the tiny button to change from air play to android connect and the wifi, ssid are not showing . i already did all the tutorial from this video but it turn out my dongle cannot be detect on my tv anymore .

      Please try to reset it again.

      Do you use the right cable?
      Please take a new one cable rather than connect via the Wi-Fi antenna.
      And you also need to press the button until plug to computer.

      ​@@MiraScreen Yes i did that and that is working, Thanks for that it detected and i flashed the new Firmware and it completed successfully, but now when i insert it into my TV it shows only black screen, i tried to plug it on my friends TV it worked for 2 minutes it was showing miraScreen Menu and was broadcasting SSID as well but after 2 minutes it went on black screen again, and SSID is also not broadcasting.

    What if the pc can't detect the dongle via usb after i followed all the instructions? I've already tried to press the button of the dongle for 5seconds and i have stable power connection.

    Hi! I have a problem with my Mirascreen g4... When I tried to connect it through wifi direct, the tv would prompt with "Do P2P connection" then "Do RTSP connection" and after 5seconds it would blink to a blank screen and knowing it's automatically disconnected. Anyone who could help please?

      @@MiraScreen tried everything and also flashed it according to youro method and it did flashed perfectly at the end it said that restore completed now restart your dongle, after that when i plugged it into my TV it is only showing 720p@60hz on a black screen

      iPhone casting is via WIFI, Android casting is via Miracast.
      They are different way for connection.
      Please refer to the user manual for clear connect steps.

      Did you Android smart phone user and would like to cast your Android phone to big screen by Mirascreen dongle?
      If yes, sorry for my misunderstanding in last reply.
      For Android mirroring, please follow the steps below to mirror:
      1. Press the button on the side of the dongle for switching to Miracast mode
      2. Turn on your phone wifi and connect to home router
      3. Turn on "Multi-screen/screen mirroring/smart view/Wireless display" miracast and start to mirror

      Noted: please make sure your phone support Miracast. None miracast built won't mirror on the TV.

      The dongle you have is not our AnyCast dongle with SSID only six-digit number, it's a counterfeit one.
      Our Anycast SSID is eight-digit number like Anycast-1A2B3C4D.
      And the IP address is different from our AnyCast (192.168.203.1).
      You can refer to any-cast.com/pages/unauthorized-counterfeit for reference. Please return the dongle back to the store you bought and ask for a refund.

    Every time I plug mini usb into my phone, or any phone for that matter, I get a warning to unplug as it has detected water! Let it sit on a warm air vent and in a bag of rice, still same warning. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bill

    When i run my anycast in AirPlay mode and try to connect my home wifi router , i get bad connection error and it does not find any wifi signal.
    When i use 5v/1A adapter , it keeps same error (bad connection)
    Then , i tried to reboot my anycast device by connect to my computer , i downloaded and started EZupdate v1.09 tool.
    My computer did not see my AnyCast device even i push the button while i inserting the cable.
    So what can i do now?

      Please check your mode, Airplay mode has Wi-Fi and Airplay mirroring, Miracast mode has no Wi-Fi amd support Miracast mirroring for Android phone and Windows device.

      And you need to press the button until your USB cable plug in Windows device.

      Cara lain silahkan cek koneksi antara dongle dan modul WiFi sudah stabil.

      @@BILLSK11 EZMira app doesn't support Linux OS at this moment.
      Please setup by Android/iOS/Windows/MacOS device.
      About setup your Mirascreen K6 to your home router, please use your device Wi-Fi and connect to Mirascreen K6 SSID first, then turn on you browser and key in 192.168...., you would be able to access setup page.
      After all, you could click "internet" option and choose your router to setup Mirascreen K6 connect to your home router.

      The dongle you have is not our AnyCast dongle with SSID only six-digit number, it's a counterfeit one.
      Our Anycast SSID is an eight-digit number like Anycast-1A2B3C4D.
      And the IP address is different from our AnyCast (192.168.203.1).
      You can refer to any-cast.com/pages/unauthorized-counterfeit for reference. Please return the dongle back to the store you bought and ask for a refund.

      @@MiraScreen I've done this before than its work can open all apps include game until after 1 week later and the problem back again. I try do the same thing again include update the apps and update the firmware restart all as normal and still not working when I open game.. now I want to reset the dongle but don't know how.. my computer didn't detect anything as shown in your video.     Alright. So, it's working properly since the first day I've bought it. Then like about a month ago it just decided that it doesn't want to work anymore. When I connected it to the tv and tried to find it on my phone, my phone couldn't find any nearby devices. I've also downloaded the repair tool and followed just like how you're doing it in the video but to no avail as it didn't detect the dongle? What seems to be the problem actually?

    I read many comments about that the SSID is gone after some settings.. I hope this is a simple solution for those:
    I think the solution is very very simple... I just tried tonight everything after I did some first settings on the Mirascreen G2 (a brand new device out of the box). After I changed some settings I can't find the wifi network. So plugged in a 5V 2.5a adapter but still nothing. After a few hours I have changed the Mirascreen G2 with one push on the button from Android/Windows mode to Mac/Airplay mode and bammm the ssid was back again!
    I hope you all have this same 'software-bug'.

      However, Samsung J6 miracast is disabled by Samsung from hardware or software.

      @@pistnboy1356 Please power on your dongle, Mirascreen SSID/PSK will shown on your TV, and the PSK (eight digit) number is the password for WiFi connection.
      We also suggest power the dongle using an external 5V/1A power adapter. Then reboot your Mirascreen dongle, wait for a few minutes for Mirascreen boots up.
      Switch on your phone Wi-Fi, wait for wifi loading. Please connect to Mirascreen SSID after your device wifi loading finishing.
      We suggest do not touch/select Mirascreen SSID so fast, please wait until phone wifi loading finish.

      If yes, sorry for my misunderstanding in last reply.
      For Android mirroring, please follow the steps below to mirror:
      1. Press the button on the side of the dongle for switching to Miracast mode
      2. Turn on your phone wifi and connect to home router
      3. Turn on "Multi-screen/screen mirroring/smart view/Wireless display" miracast and start to mirror

      Noted: please make sure your phone support Miracast. None miracast built won't mirror on the TV.
