Benzema starts because he actually improves the team around him & would adapt to any system, whether it's Klopps, Pep's or Xavi's tiki taka... most managers & even Pep admire him. If there's a need for goals, bring in Ronaldo. Lewandowski is more of sure chance to score than Ronaldo but Ronaldo has more diverse ways to score, his shooting from 40 yeards or maybe take one or two players on or link up/hold the ball.
Lewandowski is amazing, just pure goal scorer but my preference is a football more nuanced or diverse.

What is Stevie on about? Fede Valverde has the best ceiling as a midfielder, there's a reason why Fede stayed & Kovacic(world class), Odegaard (he's growing to be world class) left. Fede is a proven midfielder, past few seasons you'd have Kroos & Modric injured... Fede would performed at high level & they were barely missed. Fede destroyed Barca over the years, look at the hate he receives from Barca fans, even as a RB, Fede destroyed Liverpool & Klopp drools over Fede/Rodrygo.
Camavinga at 16 destroyed PSG's midfield, he didn't have just one cameo. Few games he started. Issue with them not being known is cause Ancelotti is old & stubborn, he doesn't give them game times or rotate even when they're motm performances. Ancelotti said that rotation to him is when players are injured or tired, man is too old... you rotate to prevent injuries or tiredness like what happened in 1st leg vs PSG.

Inconsistent if you look at a selective time frame. Ronaldo is the most consistent over the course of a season, and across his career. Lewandowski hasn‘t always been on the current level. Also Bundesliga stats playing at Bayern have to be judged differently than Premier League stats with Man U.
