  • Frankie Edgar participated in the UFC 200 NY Press Event on April 27, 2016 at Madison Square Garden and took questions about his fight with Jose Aldo, the interim title, and whether or not he thinks Conor McGregor has been ducking him.
"July 9th there is going to be a two-division champ, and it's not going to be Conor McGregor."
"I have a feeling Conor may never come back down to 45, so in turn it will be the real belt."
"I don't want to get ahead of myself... but it seems like whatever weight class I go people tell me to go to a lower one... It'll be tough to pass that up, to be a three-division champion."
"[Conor] is conveniently not fighting, every time out. Every time it comes up, we are conveniently not fighting. he may not be scared of me but he may be scared of the result... I think he is scared of what can happen. At 170 he does not have much lose... I knew it was that risk of possibly losing the belt to me."

Let's see how long Conor can duck the wrestlers on a full camp at 155 like he did at 145
