This was training with Valentina for Joanna. I feel like this is what changed Rose. I always felt her striking was good and she was light on her feet but she came back with cleaner more accurate striking, more grind and more power. She said Valentina didn't hold back and murked her in training Man Valentina is different than everyone. She literally lives like she is preparing for war. She is a martial artist...a damn clean one...a marksman, speaks 4-5 different languages and travels the world....training. She has reputation in Houston in many gyms. Especially know for having a fast spinning kick...she is just fast. We had to rewind shit to really see her combos

Valintina, there's a short Muay Thai fight on youtube under the call-up title " woman agsinst man in Muay Thai". Its a note worthy fight with a small woman and a larger man. She has some good, but not typical techniques for her kicking, and she knocks him flat 6 times or more during a 2 round match. And walks away with a knockout win. I'm hoping you'll at least be a little amused if you find time to watch. And maybe you'll see what fighting girl can do with just kicks alone. From the west coast David

This low key the most intriguing match on card outside Jorge v Marty. Rose is very well rounded. She was doing ok with Andrade 1st time til she caught with a freak slam. Rose has better chance of avenging her defeat than Holloway does

Rose punches harder (she KO'ed Joanna in their first fight and rearranged her face in the second one, something Valentina didn't do). Rose has better BJJ. Valentina probably wins based on strength, but Rose might be able to outpoint her or catch her in a submission. It's a fight I'd love to see. They're technically the two best fighters in women's MMA. It's an intriguing match-up.
