Had an obake in the manager's office, ran out of smudges during other tests and wasn't able to spot the shapeshift. Onryo in the manager office and revenant in the restricted wing, got em correct. Jinn in the utility room (impossible to identify with these settings), guessed goryo and got it wrong. Finally had a poltergeist in the matron's office, saw some spicy throws during hunts and got the polter explosion in the ghost room after smudging it.
This challenge really gave me trouble. I had a lot of ghosts that are harder to figure out (Mare, Yurei, etc.) but I did figure out a Deogen, Goryo, and the last one was between a Moroi or Thaye, but when I smudged it, it gave off freezing breath, so it was a Hantu.

Guessed Hantu correctly after witnessing the cold Breath, did a few hunt tests to rule mimic out, but ultimately died because I thought they cannot walk through locked doors 9/10 weekly challenges completed, just one more left.
Got two foyer mimics in a row to start, so that was nice. Ended up getting 3 Spirits in a row that insta-killed us, then a rev. Pretty easy, fun challenge.
Shout out to one of your older videos: the PERFECT apocalypse challenge is still, to date, one of my favorite things you've ever done so I fully expect this challenge was pretty easy for you after working through that accomplishment.
I had a Banshee, Shade, and Phantom. I basically did the entire challenge from that first room by the door because don't worry about it.. The banshee took a minute to figure out but the others were pretty easy. The shades' ghost room was the room I was hanging out in, so it was clear what the ghost type was when I sat there for 100 years with no hunt. And the last one killed me without me seeing it so I guessed phantom. Also, yes, I do have all three trophies. :)
We made it with 2 players in 2 evenings. About 50 tries....it is impossible to figure out some ghost types because they hunt with the same behaviour. Jinn is a pain to figure in this challenge because of the broken breaker. One dead player can't see Obakes shapeshift, btw! Shade is difficult. Goryo as well. We had a Raiju and figured it with an active Camera in the Area from faster steps. We had an Obake and saw the shapeshift. One dead, the other saw it during a hunt. And we struggled a bit to figure out our last one, a Moroi. The most intersting mission. It was at the Chapel and we ruled out all ghosts because of the speed and electronics. Moroi, Hantu or Thaye? We placed defense and smudged. We were in the room long enough. Then the final hunt. Ghost did not get slower? Thaye out. No cold breath? No Hantu. So we made it with the Moroi. It was really fun!

@Psychoooo Please explain clearly how to get the gold trophy? Do you still need to get the ghost photo and finish the 3 objectives? Or do you simply need to identify the ghost correctly for the trophy?
Gold Apoc Trophy - Ghost photo (regardless of 1, 2 or 3 stars), all objectives, correct ghost type, full Sunny Meadows map, Single Player (not multiplayer, click on Single Player) and you must survive.
Between the hallway Hantu, the teleport-kill Wraith, and the entrance Shade, it wasn't a bad challenge. We won't talk about how many fails I had along the way, it is sooooo easy to get baited on these settings 🙃
This was my first time doing this challenge and oh boy, likely never again. You and whomever implemented this forgot that games are meant to be fun. Coulda named this 'Murder and Guessing' because there wasn't much more to it.
It takes time and practice to remember everything, just like any other game/hobby you might have. It's normal for people to still be learning things about ghosts after they've reached prestige 1 or 2, and a lot of players aren't comfortable trying the apocalypse trophy challenges until they're at least prestige 2 or 3.
Make an Excel-Sheet with all Ghost types, hunting sanity, and all abilities. (You may collect the informations from Phasmo-videos) If you are finished with the sheet, you know the most important things and do barely need it anymore^^
no, i tried the challenge on the normal sunny meadows map (shows skull icon) done the 3 objectives + ghost photo and guessed the correct ghost type and did not get the trophy, sad
No evidence. As Psycho explained it at the start, aside from smaller map and we have normal player speed, everything else is maxxed up in difficulty, so no evidence, ghost speed at 150%, low interaction, low event, high roaming, high hunt duration, 0 grace period, flashlight doesn't work, etc.
I had recorded everything, but in the end, my file got corrupted! It ionly happened once before that and it was whern I did the Apocalypse challenge and got the 3 trophies! In the end, I ghot a Rev, Yurei that used its abnuility twice when I entered and a Thaye... I almost forgot! In between those, I got killed a couple time and oe of the ghost was Lisa! I thought it was Psycho who sent me that Lisa lol🤣🤣 jkjk lol
There are lots of video guides on how to complete it, just search for apocalypse guide from psychohypnotic or maggstor or insym and they all go pretty in depth into strategies. There are also lots of unofficial hiding spots that work very well for this challenge. Behind the organ in the chapel, behind gurneys and beds in the wings, even behind the wing walls in the mud room at the front door are all great hiding spots.
worst challenge ever... not only are we waiting another year for the needed horror 2.0 (if they don't postpone again) but then challenges like this.... pff... useless

Misidentified two ghosts, but had an easy enough time of it otherwise. I've had the gold trophy for quite a while now so I'm used to running this.

No, u need the full map solo and crank everything to highest even walking. And u have to get the ghost photo + all 3 objectives
