Steven is dangerous because he does a great job making his messages sound biblical but then he throws in things like that. And again, someone who exclaims "I AM GOD" like he did a few weeks ago in his sermon is not preaching biblically. Just because you have a relationship with God does not make you God.

I feel like fasting makes more time for prayer, and I also feel like fasting is saying, “ I want to let go of this lower life, to take part in Your higher life.”
That's right. Also, in a practical sense, for me fasting is a way of me reminding my body that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that streams from the mouth of God (Deuteronomy 8v3) so physical hunger need be nothing that keeps me from seeking God's face!

I have watched some of them multiple times because I love them but also I sometimes will receive the same message with a different perspective. I love how you preach....because you use humor. I woke up this morning with a memory rolling around in my mind of me singing Psalm 121 at summer camp and thought it was so random until I watched this message. Last week I bawled through the whole thing God was so present. The night before you preached this I was praying in our truck in the rain crying again because "I believe but I'm still feeling overwhelmed" and God continues to speak! I feel like a broken record. It cannot be explained apart from Christ in you. If I were you I'd be tempted to read the comments too, if only to see what God is doing! We know you're the vessel and it's our responsibility from here. It's like you always say on the podcast "I hope it encourages you, I hope it builds your faith" - well it has and does!
It’s been a rough two months… I’ve been feeling so sad and stressed out, lost in motherhood …. I noticed that I always kept saying when I have time I’ll pray when I have time I’ll read The Bible… I’m glad today was the day. God reminded me I need him for my journey for the 100th time! To not seek comfort in people when all I need is him 💙 May your trouble be less, God bless 💙
As I’m reflecting on the sermon, asking God to help me overcome my unbelief I’m sensing there are many areas that I don’t even recognize that I’m unbelieving because it’s become natural and familiar. So today I am so thankful for his loving grace and patience with me. I will continue to pray for God to help me and others in our unbelief, and the grace to walk through those moments.💕

The Holy Spirit had been speaking to me about “it” 🤡 for quite some time. I recently met someone who was not saved and could kind of recognize that they had a Spirit in them that was not of God. In our texts, he used the clown emoji often. I connected the dots, and started talking to him about God…he just invited ME to church and to get baptized with him. 😅 THEN I SEE THIS SERMON. About the boy. And the TITLE! God is wild. God is good.

I lost my husband of 26th yrs last October. I am lost without him. I lost our house as well because I couldnt afford it. Finacially hard since. I feel alone because he was my bestfriend, our wall. I praise God for using you as a mighty vessel for the Holy Spirit. This has been what felt like a tragic week. But after hearing your sermon, I felt like the Holy Spirit was saying you don’t know how to look. I have always dealt with a spirit of rejection and when it happens especially with family, I feel like I can’t breath. I know now that I’ve got to let Jesus reveal where my hurt is really coming from. Battling rejection is terrible but I’m reminded that I don’t need to worry about who doesn’t want me in their lives but WHOSE in my life. A daughter of the most high! Praise God! What a powerful message! I am grateful to God for leading me to this channel. I have been astray for nearly 30 years; lost in the occult world. When I came back to Christ a few months ago, I found a great church nearby, this channel and Pastor Greg Laurie’s. Both have been a balm to my spirit. When Pastor Furtick mentioned his friend losing confidence; what he said about Who we walk in with. It hit me so hard that even though I walked away from God for a long time. He NEVER left me and he was with me throughout my journey. He brought me home. He saw me through the darkness that I allowed into my life for so long. The Holy Spirit had been speaking to me about “it” 🤡 for quite some time. I recently met someone who was not saved and could kind of recognize that they had a Spirit in them that was not of God. In our texts, he used the clown emoji often. I connected the dots, and started talking to him about God…he just invited ME to church and to get baptized with him. 😅 THEN I SEE THIS SERMON. About the boy. And the TITLE! God is wild. God is good.

@@elevationchurch I need to stop beating myself up when I make mistakes. God doesn't give up on me, I give up on me because of something I said or did that I know is against my new path in life. Instead I needed to ask him to show me why I did it and how can I do it differently next time. If that makes sense.

I lost my husband of 26th yrs last October. I am lost without him. I lost our house as well because I couldnt afford it. Finacially hard since. I feel alone because he was my bestfriend, our wall. We have made 5 beautiful children. They too are having a hard time. Their dad is a good father. Over all I am losing it and my mind because I am hurt that he left me. Anyway yesterday I came accross of you streaming live, it got my attention that I couldnt stop watching you preach. I would like to appriiatte your sermon because you saved me. I praise God for using you as a mighty vessel for the Holy Spirit. This has been what felt like a tragic week. But after hearing your sermon, I felt like the Holy Spirit was saying you don’t know how to look. I have always dealt with a spirit of rejection and when it happens especially with family, I feel like I can’t breath. I know now that I’ve got to let Jesus reveal where my hurt is really coming from. Battling rejection is terrible but I’m reminded that I don’t need to worry about who doesn’t want me in their lives but WHOSE in my life. A daughter of the most high! Praise God! What a powerful message! I am grateful to God for leading me to this channel. I have been astray for nearly 30 years; lost in the occult world. When I came back to Christ a few months ago, I found a great church nearby, this channel and Pastor Greg Laurie’s. Both have been a balm to my spirit.
When Pastor Furtick mentioned his friend losing confidence; what he said about Who we walk in with. It hit me so hard that even though I walked away from God for a long time. He NEVER left me and he was with me throughout my journey. He brought me home. He saw me through the darkness that I allowed into my life for so long. Thank you Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior for saving me always!!

It dawned on me that I didn't lose it, I rather invested my money in the company and I strongly believe that it shall be recovered back to me for my faith is totally built up.
