STOKED you guys are doing a S2000!!! When I finally started getting more money into my account thru the Army, this was the first car I wanted at the time. Went out on a test drive on a used one and fell completely in love with it. Handled a lil tight/stiffly in corners but I'd never driven a a car like that before and realized it was perfect. The seats hugged you perfectly and you never moved. The only improvement to the stock car itself that I thought it really needed was the shifter. Loved that car man... Anyways...Can't wait to see your finished product and definitely gonna try to win that Celica✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
The S2000 is almost the perfect car. You may have driven a car with a worn shifter bushing because the stock shifter is nearly perfection. Good luck on the Celica and thanks for commenting!
OMG! My dream build. Tommy knows what’s up and you will not find another build like this on CZcams. Maybe do a V-mount setup for the intercooler? But I 100% vote for a 4P 2.5 NA build haha

Johnny Tran's S2000 was really only in the movie for Jesse's plot, it wasn't really an important car in the franchise, so good move making your build out of the franchise.
And the Celica build will be fun to follow as well. I'd like to see more smaller builds like that.

always easy to make suggestions with nothing but a keyboard - would be really interesting if you took the first movie and do some "what if" projects. meaning, what if they used a different car than one of the hero cars - like a 300ZX turbo instead of the Supra. or a Boss 429 instead of the Charger, whatever, take your pick. and do it all up in F&F livery
That could be a cool project. Maybe as the channel grows we can take larger risks.

Why don't you guys go with a 2nd gen 3SGTE from the SW20 motor it's better updated than the 1st gen 3SGTE.
Can't wait to see that ST165 finish though for sure.
We thought about doing a motor swap but California is pretty strict on what can be changed out under the hood. We want everyone to have a chance with this giveaway.
@@JustDriven the 2nd gen 3SGTE was sold in America and is Cali Legal if you can find a USDM one.
We would have to have it BAR'd after the swap unless we just used the long block. We are trying to make this nice and simple for someone to enjoy.

It's crazy how most of these cars have just become so expensive in the last 8-10 years.
Exactly. Especially 180sx's, 350Z's, those surprised me the most. I expected the big four to skyrocket, mk4 Supra, FD rx7, na1 nsx, gtr 32-34. But now even the lesser high end jdm are so high. Definitely looking forward to seeing the end result on this!
Everyone wants a piece of those JDM goodies. We suspect this Celica will even be worth a pretty penny when we are done with it.

The S2000 is such a great car and you're right to focus on school and your child! If it's meant to be for you to have an S2000 you'll get one.
Yes, for now i will to continue to prioritize my child future. I can't add any more cars to my collection yet 😁
