  • A school district in Texas is headed to a trial after they punished a Black high school student over his hair. The school claims that the student's hair style violates the dress code policy, but the family claims that the punishment is a violation of the CROWN act.

This same school was in court 4 years ago with another Black male student for the same reason. Not for nothing I think that area is mostly white conservative. Guess that's one way to make the people that do not look like them welcomed. Created bs policies that in actuality will only apply to segment of the school population. I do not even have to read to policy to know it's discriminatory. It's just Jim Crow 2.0. Someone posted a copy of the school and school district's original dress code in an earlier CZcams video regarding this crazy situation. The school and school district did not have the word length nor the phrase length when let down in their original dress code. After the CROWN Act Law was passed, the school and the school district read it. When they saw that the word length nor the phrase length when let down was not in the new law, they added the phrase length when let down to their dress code in order to circumvent/get around the CROWN Act Law.
