People don't appreciate how incredibly awesome the ending of this song was for the time the album was released. So innovative.
Was 1974, I was 6 years old. Bought this album at a local store. Went home looking at these guys with makeup on their faces and hoped their music would be good. I put headphones on and dropped the needle into a new world of Rock And Roll. I was hooked...... thank you Ace, Gene, Paul and Peter !
This album will be 50 years old in 2024. 0_o Still kicks ass today. That's kind of nuts.
She is the most powerful diamond
This whole album was one of the best debuts of all time!50 years old today and still holds up!
skin on skin
Ace was THE sound of Kiss in te 70´s
Skin on skin
on the street
50 years ago..Peter chriss killing it..
As a guitarist this is and will always be one of my favorite solos of all time. The amount of feel that ace puts out with it is almost unmatched.
Peter Criss' vocals on this song rule. Such an amazing chunk of talent went into this song. The end is crushing.
this is black diamond
As a Kid I was always an Ace fan, his solos blew me away, still do all these years later. when he left the band, so did I.
Black Diamond the most powerful song I’ve ever heard, it makes me want to listen to it on the bedroom, ceiling, fridge, streets, skin-on-skin-
Ace's playing is very tasteful
This is my most favorite Ace solo.
Strutter and Black diamond are the songs I like very much from this album.
The ending slowmotion is a blueprint for drone... this is a masterpiece.
One of the best riffs ever written.
