Thanks Kirk! What a strange dart though, next day I had another throw, seemed like they were programmed to hit the T20's but the more I tried to be accurate with them the worse they got, just throw them any old how and they were hitting trebles, lol very weird!

Great review Darren👍been using for about 4 months, take some getting used to being a very rear gripper. Still not 100% but been using them in the league regardless. Only downside is the red coating comes off in tiny flakes!

@@DartsReviewChannel yeah must be. I got them to replace my Wolfram infiinity as they were battered from playing everyday for a year and a half. These seem as though they'll last though regardless of the paint as the grip is very well machined.

Great review.
I had the stratos and loved them for a while then i couldnt hit the side of a barn. I agree if the were a bit thicker & shorter they would be perfect.
I like the look of the grip. When i win lotto the will be on the shopping list.

How'd you compare these
with your Harrows predators?
:) Its a different dart all round but flew quite well when I get into the right groove with them :)
180! Nice throwing, Darren. Looks like a nice classic style dart, but I don’t know about the price. It’s getting expensive to play / collect.

Been waiting for this one! The nicest dart of the 2022 launches imo. They look so similar to my drawings of potential customs, so would love to give them a try, but £75 is a little off-putting.
Its a lot nicer to throw than I thought it would be, but yeah prices are getting crazy! :)

Hi Darren, Been thinking of buying a set of One80 Luxor Gamma darts but would really appreciate it if you could do a review of the set to help me make up my mind.
I do like the look of that range but the interesting part of the grip seems to be in the wrong spot for me, still that wont stop me getting a set to review, not sure when though :)

But jokes aside my interest is peaked I do like unusual darts and a duo barrel definitely is, do you know anything about how they joined the two different billets or did they even manage to get one billet with different percentages of tungsten ?
LOL I always get over excited when I hit one so usually forget things and then go to pot afterwards lol! No idea how its joined as they only say its molecular fusion?

On the picture that showed the ballance...the barrels' actual centre of gravity was more to the middle with the short stem and further forward with the middle stem.....should that not be the other way around? Or am I misunderstanding? To me more weight at the back means it pulls the centre of gravity further back.
The Barrels Actual Centre B.A.C. is always in the same spot as that is just the middle of the barrel but even though I say "here is the balance with nothing attached", of course the point is attached so that will have some effect. If it was just a solid bar I think it would be as you expect it to be. But if my thinking is right, the more weight on the rear means the C.O.G. Centre Of Gravity will move to the right of the actual centre so thats why the medium C.O.G. is to the right of the B.A.C. Most darts I do seem to be the way in this one but not all. Some front weighted darts it can look different depending how heavy the front is and how much is drilled out the rear half. Also these Valhalla are slightly front heavy because of the higher tungsten percentage on the front. If you check the review of the Loxley Sheriff darts you will see with the short stems the C.O.G. is to the left of the B.A.C. I know its confusing at times as I have often looked myself and thought that cant be right lol!
Andy hi . These darts have 95% tungsten at the front half of the barrel and 85% at the rear ..... in other words they are front heavy very intentionally .
Never liked black darts until I started using target vapour 8 which coincidentally I've hit my most 180s in a day which was 8 also started using a set of the stratos duel core which I seem to be getting on well with so might add a set of these to the collection.
I got the Vapour 8 black for review not long after they came out, still on the shelf lol I need to get a review of them done. 8 in a day is good going though, most I ever hit in a day was 3 but that was before I knackered my shoulder :)

would it not be easier to to just drill out the rear deeper to adjust the balance then having this twin tungsten coating?
Some darts are like that but guess its probably more than just about creating a front heavy straight barrel dart, maybe without drilling its more subltley front weighted

The black paint section does it chip off?
unlikely to chip off but if the tungsten chips then it will look that way, pvd coatings wear off though but as others have said here the red flaked off but thats not a pvd coating.
Can you please make a review of the Loxley Robin 90% model 1 gold edition?
I have had them for a few weeks but I already done a video of the set I had gold coated and have reviewed the Robins already so was just going to do a short video showing the darts, not sure if it's worth doing another full review as it's only the colour that is different. But if people want a full review I can do it 😊👍
The stratos repackaged……a nice review Darren and the colour scheme does work well but not a fan of all these coatings at present but as I Sid the stratos never really took off and even with the rebranding I don’t expect these to either
I mentioned the Stratos but its not exactly the same grip design, similar style though. I think the problem is people need to try them, the more I have played with them the better they seem to be doing but its hard to be sure if its the heavier front half helping with my front grip, suspect it may be to some degree though as I am not usually a fan of long thin darts :)

Nice max ! Nice darts too I suspect . I am still using a set of Stratos darts with the same technology . It is a great shame you and commenters have reported paint flying off , but that is what your channel does , report things as you find them , thankyou . I was sort of lusting after a set of Valhallas too , damn !
I use 22g Stratos, I also have a set of 22g Valhalla which I got on day of release. They are a great set of darts but I find them a bit grippy compared to the stratos. I have had no issues with the coating either

@@davidyendoll5903 Not a problem, just to clarify my stratos are the bull nose parallel barrel with ring cuts and not the ones they did with shark cut and tapered nose. I would say if they are grip level 2.5/3 the Valhalla are 3.5/4, also they are 2-3 mm longer than the stratos

Dimensions wise these are like the target vapor 8 which are much cheaper albeit 80% tungsten.

@@DartsReviewChannel On this subject, why do people pay such attention to tungsten? I understand everything about it being denser blah blah blah but 80% tungsten darts fly just as well as 97% and, as I've pointed out, you can get the same dimensions at a weight that suits the thrower. Higher tungsten comes at a higher cost but I don't see how it's worth it. I have a fair size collection of darts that all cost less than 40 quid (I look out for deals on Amazon etc to get the bargains). I don't buy player darts as they come at a premium and I don't really give a monkeys about the tungsten. If they fly, they fly.

Can a dart break on the point where the 95 tungsten goes into the 85 when it drops on the floor?
I dont know, dont remember anyone saying anything about their previous dual tungsten darts breaking in that way, my previous two never :)

I've been so disappointed with these darts literally only used them for 30mins a day for 3 weeks and they've lost nearly all of the red colouring. It was coming off on my fingers like nail polish. Really poor quality finish.
Also managed to break one of the ends of the points when it hit a wire
I thought you were going to say the black coating, surprised the red is coming off with it being in the grooves like it is.
@@DartsReviewChannel the black has faded very slightly but the gold has more. I keep meaning to reach out to winmau and see if its a one off/if there's a finish problem with my batch as these were from the first release.
@@nickysmith2032 comment above said his red colour came off too, so something is not right.
