- After morning milking I took our John Deere 5085M and Farmtech trailer and went to the store to pick up 4 big bags of corn and barley that we use for feeding. I unload them with frontloader on a Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85. Then I went to open some more grazing ground for our heifers. After that I cleaned a calf pen and moved our youngest heifer in. Currently we have very unstable weather with frequent rain showers so we cant mow any grass and we have yet to plant our main field of corn...

Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I want to share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia.
We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M.
We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn.
We also have 7 hectares of forest.

My life is on a smaller scale. When you said 4 large bags of corn, I was thinking how heavy are they? 100 lbs? Then when I saw the "big " bags I laughed. Very little happens with 100lb bags and cows. Sure hope the corn works out. As always delightful. Thank you for sharing

@@farmerspov4709 very nice, i have 11 milkers with about 165 litres ( just came back from milking) a day overall 16 cows, but we keep them tied not open like you beacuse we dont have enought space :(. And my cousin has 6 milkers but overall 7 cows. We keep them in the same farm. I dream on having a bigger farm and good tractors. Right now i'm 13 years old but I wanna keep my farm when I grow up. We have a John Deere 2850, Deutz Fahr 6806, Deutz Fahr 7208. Love ur videos and I watch them in my free time

"Little dairy farm". I didn't expect it to be a farm this small. 😃(In fact, I'd rather have something smaller too) We have a slightly larger farm with an area of 70 hectares of arable land (wheat, barley, oats and corn for silage) plus about 20 hectares of meadows. We don't have a background for milk, so we have about 70 pieces of bull. 🙂

Do you milk every day or do you have someone to relief milk so you can get a break from the cows I have some friends from church that can milk when I need a break which is nice once in awhile
My parents. We take turns so that everyone has free Sunday every other week 😉
@@farmerspov4709 what time do you start milking am and pm I milk at 3am and 3pm I'm an early bird plus I like to go to church on Sunday so my schedule works well so I can go to both services
Oh we're not that early, we start at 6 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon 😉
