- Between harvesting wild herbs and making a wild ocean crossing, we have been busy. We visited one of the Aran Islands, Inis Oirr, details below. Inis Oirr - pronounced Inisheer, is the smallest of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Galway. A peaceful and friendly place with a surprising amount of history and it was wonderful meeting the two lovely women in the Community Centre, thanks for the welcome. A hard life for the inhabitants of the islands back in the day BUT the community that worked together, played together and helped each other. My ancestors came from Orkney and I have letters from my great, great grandfather to my great grandmother when she was 15 and moved to England for work. The content of the letters outlines what is happening in their daily lives in 1835 and it's so precious reading about it. Thank you for the trip to Inis Oirr =-) Take care.

We stayed in Doolin and took the boat to inisheer...so long ago but never forgotten.
The bright blue gentians in the wee gaps in the stones on the Burren. The wild flowers everywhere. And the kindness of the people.

Terri 💚 I love all the pretty colors of the herbs on a gray day they seem to pop right out of the bleek gray days that will coming up as the season start to change. What a fantastic old cemetery who doesn't love a old historic cemetery full of history I know it's hard for me to resist one & can't wait to see all the plans you have change you want to do . every day life gets in the way of our plans & creations we want to create ❤

Oh lovely tour of places in Ireland I've never heard of, and the small shops and Art Center are just sweet! I'd love to go to these places and the ancient castles and graveyards, they do have such a mystery to them. Thank you so much for all of this!!!

Another wonderful video! The meadow walk with all the lovely wildflowers, the trip across the ocean, the tour of the island, and getting to see Lol's artwork! Loved "Snail's Eye View". I often think, "I wonder how the world looks to very small creatures like ants, snail, etc. I wonder what they think humans are." So, I really loved that perspective. Also, I was thinking about how much I appreciate the production quality of y'all's films. You are an excellent and knowledgeable presenter and Lol is a talented videographer/photographer/editor/musician. Y'all make a fantastic team. 💜💜

Everything was wonderful, from the island, all the art, the wildflowers, and I love your garden than you for sharing. Wildflowers are my favorite you can only do as much as the Mother will let you. Rainy days are for tea and reading and making plans.

This would be the perfect video for a smell component. I know it will happen someday! What a lovely day with so many floral rewards. thank you. Dog and chicken activity is always relaxing. but the boat crossing challenging tho seeing all of the rock works was especially interesting. As was the art venue, Snails Eye View,. yay ...boys in dresses for protection from fairy abduction. Ill be watching a second and third time on this one. ❤❤

Beautiful film and music, as always. ☘️ When you mentioned the boys in girls' clothing, it reminded me of a photo of Franklin Roosevelt as a child. Terri, thank you so much for showing us your lovely area. I enjoyed the entire video from finding all the lovely herbs on you and your brothers' land to the island crossing and everything the island offers. Ireland has been on my top 3 places to visit, and I would dearly love to walk about on the island and visit the craft shop, which looks right up my alley, to the Cemetery, the tea shop, the castle ruins and breathe deeply! I too love cemeteries but here in Australia, unless you visit the sacred sites of my ancestors, the Aboriginal people, in particular the Wiradjuri people, our cemeteries have no graves over 230 years old. That ancient church was so interesting to see. As for the talents of the people, including your husband, who painted and decorated the instruments, well, that's something I haven't seen before. I hate to use the word "interesting" again, but they were both beautiful and INTERESTING! I loved the colours Lol used, and it certainly was "A Snail's View." I look forward to visiting your website but I don't dare until I have more money because I know there'll be plenty of items I want to buy! Regardless of the rain, wind, and cold on display in your video, it looked like Heaven to me! Thank you, and have a good week!

Good morning dear terri,my goodness me a lovely very emotional flower film,its so beautiful and really just as if its your all around garden. Im sure your brother is very happy to know about all those delightful flowers. Terri I see what you mean, a feast for your eyes its very pleasantly filling isn't it..just what I needed to see on this Sunday morning. Its early here,very dark still.im hoping for some sunshine again today, the wind has been hugely high.one of my daughters is staying until the end of the month with her family, just 5 minutes along 5he way, my 1st granddaughter now 18 is staying at mine. They have come for the summer holidays from the faulklands, so they are perfectly used to the wind now.2 little grandson s full of healthy energy. My goodness it makes me realise how slow I have gotten. 😊.I have given my granddaughter a nice big flower press for her 18th,with a lovely wild flowers of the faulkland islands book..also a journal for her .they have lived there 1 year so far, my granddaughter says so far she hasn't seen many wild flowers but im sure as spring is arriving when they get back, there will some. The boys love the seals and penguin s..im a bit concerned that a lack of some food s.and milk.i was hoping they could grow vegetables. Well im going to watch again with my granddaughter later..I really enjoyed all your film and congratulations lol, just delightful, you must be very proud of each other, the music is lovely.
