This is a piece of ART , Beautiful Work !
Yall just gave me inspiration for my next set of kitchen knives. That is such an amazing pattern you achieved and wicked exciting.
That turned out sweet ! What a work of art ! Can't wait to see the handle go on.
Thanks 👍
Good job buddy.... you should be very proud of your work. It looks absolutely amazing!
Amazing, man! I love the step by step approach.
Erick that is one sick blade bro! Don't you love it when experimentation and hard work produce such an excellent functional peice of art! Next time add some 1084 and coffee etch for a whole other layer of contrast! I love that we are all jumping into this cu mai stuff right now! A+ man
When you see the handle scales you will get the contrast. I will be making another one in march that will have some cool contrast and a bunch of craziness going on.
I'm still in love with the contrast of CuMai in your video today. That was a perfect little knife.
Great work, Erick!
👍🏻👍🏻
I like it alot, looks great so far, really, we all can't wait to your next video. It's Great
Thank you very much!
You're welcome. I love knives since I was a little kid and still keep adding more to my collection. I'll keep watching your videos to learn more, maybe some day I'll be able to create one.
I enjoy that copper Damascus. Great looking knive. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Thank you!
Wow bro that is unbelievably stunning I love it you should be ready proud of this one I want it lol
Damn, that is gorgeous! Awesome craftsmanship my friend, glad I found your channel!

DUDE...THIS KNIFE IS A FRICKING PIECE OF...............ART !!!
IF IT HAD TITS I WOULD MARRY IT ! LOL SERIOUSLY IT'S
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL KNIFE,AND I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF THEM
AND LOVE MOST OF THEM BUT THIS ONE IS ON TOP ! AND I AM STARTING SLOWLY
TO MAKE KNIVES BUT I HAVE NOT VERY MANY TOOLS SO I'M TAKING
MY TIME AND AFTER A COUPLE I WILL BE ABLE TO START SELLING THEM AND SLOWLY INVESTING
IN THE TOOLS I AM MISSING AND ONCE I'M WELL EQUIPED I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING
ON CONCENTRATING ON CU MAI, I LOVE THE CONTRAST YOU GET BETWEEN STEEL
AND COPPER. DON'T STOP YOUR GREAT WORK YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION FOR ME AND PROBABLY MANY MORE !
That knife profile, Man what a Beautiful piece!
Thank you!
The shine you brought it to is perfect. Not a knife I would ever use BUTT would love to look at on a shelf :)
Beautiful craftsmanship
Amazing work! I almost want to see It with clear scales.. can’t wait to see the final product
Thank you!
Beautiful profile and the pattern is incredible
Glad you like it!
Grinder guards just get in the way! 😉
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful Brother!!
All I can say is "WOW"! What a knife. 💯💥 Out of the ballpark!
Thanks!
That is a true piece of art, easily the most beautiful knife blade I've seen.
It came out beautiful! I think it was a good idea to leave it shiny. It should look amazing with the handle you have planned!
An old roaster will work great for a quench tank and heating up the quench oil
Fantastic. I really like the profile. Can’t wait to see the handle build.
I think y'all are going to like the handle as well.
Love-it!! please eatch it in instant cofee you won't regret!!
Man! Your copper creations are awesome!
Killed it brother! Looks amazing!

Super cool
Thank you!
Insane!
Thank you!
very good👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👋👋
Thank you very much
Awesome work man. It’s beautiful! I’d like to forge something like this out of quarters if possible. I know that probably going to be very difficult though haha
You can do it!
That thing is sick, cant wait to see it once those handles are on. Definitely tippy top shelf work my friend, your getting better with every one. This one is going to be hard to top lol.
Yup, nothing like starting the year off with this build lol.
@@theriversexperience9383 you've got your work cut out for you now lol no pun intended lol
Man! That is truly amazing!!
Did you make the billet?
Would love to know your process
Yup, this is just part of the build series.
Hello, nice grinding skills and a very nice knife. How will the copper hold up in use? I wish i had a place to try and do stuff like this.
Looks awesome. Shame you have to cover the handle.
I know right? The handle scales I'm doing should put this over the top though.
Watched you make that a while ago, and it's still one of the most amazing knives I've ever seen!! Where do you get your 15n20 from? All of the sawmills here in Idaho don't give away OR sell the worn out bandsaw blades, and I don't want to deface United states currency, so any kind of information would be great!
I get the 15n20 from Pops Knife Supply.
@@theriversexperience9383 thanks, I just built a little forge, and tried the mokume gane with a couple of quarters. Turned out alright, but I'm just getting started. Was given some circular sawmill blades, I've been told they're 80crv2, and have made a couple knives so far, and wanted to make bolsters? Guards, not sure of the terminology yet, but right before the handle! 🤣
Please eatchi-it in !nstant Cofee!! that will make all carbon steel black plastik looking, please please plaese!!!
idk if I like this one, Mokume Gane is supposed to look like wood grain... not oil in water.
Could this project work with silver?
Some people use nickle silver but I would assume it could be done with just silver. It would be a pricey gamble though.
@@theriversexperience9383 True, however, consider how well it would sell especially considering all of the individuals out there doubt there who believe in werewolves and vampires. Let alone the number of views you would get. Just putting that on the corner of your table for you to consider.
