Behind The Scenes: Mabe Fratti at Willem Twee Studios - Episode 2

Most of the music you'll hear at Gaudeamus Festival 2023 will be brand new, often written or developed especially for the festival. In a series of behind the scenes videos and interviews, we give you a glimpse of this process.
Today, another look at composer, cellist and singer Mabe Fratti's residency for Gaudeamus at the Willem Twee studios in Den Bosch, that hold a vast collection of vintage synthesizers. Fratti will combine sounds that she recorded here with material from her upcoming album for a unique performance at the Saturday night of Gaudeamus Festival 2023.

I wish Arturia would make an ARP 2500 modular replication like we see in this video. Or even better still a Buchla modular. It strue though we are spoiled having VCV Rack as a free virtual modular, but Arturia has done some really good stuff with their Moog modular, the Buchla Easel, and Synclavier for us peasants.
