I love reading scores
just imagine when you finally finished your piece, but now you have to make another copy of that because printers weren't invented yet (correct me if wrong) and do it again for violins, cellos, and more! Now since we have modern technology, we can appreciate how wonderful this piece is.
Edit: I love this piece.
Love this. Wish I could isolate instruments

Yâknow, with a little creative tweaking, this could be a great piece for wind band. Ravelâs orchestration doesnât lean very heavily on the strings, and most of the melodic and harmonic material is presented through the winds and brass. Itâs just such a rich, chorale-like sound that I never noticed before.
where is full version??
This is 'Great gate of Kiev' last movment.
