Dr. Jaishankar was appointed as India's Ambassador to United States in Sept 2013. He took charge on 23 December 2013 succeeding Nirupama Rao.
So he might have gone with his family and as his son might be studying there or have got settled there... that's why He may be staying there...
And apart from that also .... We can't deny the fact that US is one of the world's best countries if we say it in terms of money or lifestyle...
So the point is not WHY his son is not in india ...the point is despite being that progressive nation they can't do the thing which india did....
PS: bcz we still have to catch-up so many things to become parallel to USA... Here he didn't told we have crossed USA in development... He just told that amongst other things we have made this achievement

It's so correct Sir. It's everytime I feel when I compare UPI. Or order just anything and get things delivered at any time of the day. Of how we have everything so seamlessly integrated with Aadhaar. Our entire banking system. The kind of security we have in such financial institutions..the way the entire traffic system is automated by internet. I am so proud to see the development we are making as Indians and are years ahead of other so called developed countries. We were broken and beaten down by so many rulers. HIs eldest son and daughter do live in India and travel to USA often. Dhruva is head of ORF America which is part of ORF an independent global think tank based in Delhi, India founded and funded largely by Dhirubhai Ambani family. His daughter used to work for Reliance Entertainment (owned by Anil Ambani) international according to an old article.
His youngest son is probably just finishing his studies. His youngest son was 14 and in school when S. Jaishankar was made India's ambassador to the USA in 2013/2014. So his son was most likely educated there and then continued his University there.
He is External Affairs Minister. So sons and daughter are handling his Affairs Externally.😂

I went to south korea and wid all d technology they have including (the massaging pot in the washroom) i realized dat our country India is the best. We are efficient enough in many ways. Mante he ki hum jugaad me zindagi jeete he, but we are much stronger than other people around the globe. We should be proud of our current government. Dey are doing so much silently. Its creating an impacrlt slowly and steadily. The way india has developed digitally is commendable.

I should point out that his youngest son was 14 and in school when S. Jaishankar was made India's ambassador to the USA in 2014. So his son was most likely educated there and then continued his University there.

In Germany people still use and only use cash for payment at most of the shop, outlets and restaurants. Forget using digital applications, they don't even use credit cards 😅
