Still one of the most insane BMX edits to date. I still don’t watch park edits that much but Webbie’s one of the top guys for sure. The level of technicality in some of these clips is just out of this world, would love to see what he could do on a mountain bike. 🤘

Mark Webb is one of those rare people who can do whatever he puts his mind to.This section is totally mind blowing... Years ago, I was entered by my mate Northern Jon into A group (as a joke??) at the Hastings backyard jam and during practice, i remember Mark being next to me on the quarter pipe and how nervous and out of place he said he felt.. Look how far hes come now! Id say he is king in terms of progression.. And im still dreaming of toothpick stalls on quarters haha. Go Mark!

Everytime I watch x games or any BMX competition when the rider does a backflip 180 the announcer calls it a flair. If you watch this banger a few times you'll notice a backflip 180 (flair) then a fronty after. If it was a cash roll he would of landed frontwards. However when hoffman first started doing backys on a quarter he did call them flairs short for flip airs. Ever since like 2000 maybe even earlier guys have been calling backflip 180s as flairs, backys are called flip to fakie.
no, its a flair to front flip, i filmed it and believe me we watched it frame by frame countless amounts of times.

Ha yeah I am sure you can do all those box jumps too on a small box even the ones that are tricks only Webbie has pulled? That box is standard height, box jumps are 6ft tall, that box is 6ft lip but steps up to 7ft tall. The box next to it is 16ft long and I have seen Webbie 720 it and most pro's who visit cant even straight jump it. Webbie does some tricks in this edit that nobody else can do end of, and not all on the box.

You are right Sydney, whatever it is it is not a straight forward double flair as he come around forwards, you have to be flip back to be doing a flair i would figure....It is on a 6ft quarter too and not a 13 ft Vert ramp where you have way more time

Half in front out or flair in frontflip!
either way it has 720 degrees rotation on the somersault axis, 180 degree rotation on the spin or twist axis which is initiated in the first 'flip' = Flair (in) followed by a front 'flip' (out)
