Aqua Regia is an acid that is used to dissolve gold. A common source of gold is circuit boards, and aqua regia is used to dissolve the "integrated hardware" off the circuit board which is made of silicon. "Silicon ballrooms", "Gold rush, acid flux"....

The rapid call back to Sugar and then Take me back to Eden at 4:00 is such a cool line, so in love Vessel's ability to call back so naturally to every piece of lyric they have given. I highly recommend Sugar btw! Worship.

Euclid is the end of the trilogy, if I were to suggest something would be to leave that song till the end of your journey of the whole thing. Although not realistic, it would be so cool. Just because when I heard it I cried and most of the reactors that have heard it and know sleep Token have also 😅. Most of the reason why I did was due to the fact that I caught all the little callbacks in it. Idk just a thought.

Aqua Regia is a mix of Nitric Acid and Hydrochloric Acid. When the 2 are mixed they become a very toxic acid capable of dissolving Gold. The song is about 2 toxic people coming together and destroying everything around them when they are together, at least my interpretation. I really enjoy that you are going through the entirety of Take Me Back To Eden, however, not to spoil anything for you, you need to listen to the One and Two LP’s, Sundowning, and This Place will Become your Tomb before listening to the last song on TMBTE…. It’s a journey, and a culmination of that journey, and without listening to those songs, you may not be able to appreciate it in its grand finale…. 🖤Worship🖤

My daughter introduced ST to me with THE SUMMONING, and i was completely hooked. It has been ages since i have heard an album that I could just put on and listen all the way through. It is so nice and refreshing to have a band that blends genres and still make sure you get chills by the lyrics. Every song on this album I would say this is my favorite, lol, so I understand that logic 😂
But the lyricism in these songs will just blow most people away if they go back and take the time to listen to their older albums and understand what Vessel's dream was about and why he has made the songs he has. This album dropped on my birthday May 19th, and my daughter introduced me to Sleep Token And I have to say it was probably one of the best birthday presents I've had in many many years. Since then I have devoured this album, and have gone back through their Sundowning and TPWBYT albums and I have to say that they are all unique in their own ways yet tied together at the same time lol 😂

Even though there’s so many great songs with crazy genre switches and more intensity and depth, this is still my favorite song on the album. The lyrics, the piano, that amazing bridge.. I love it

I’ve been listening to them for more than two years and every song I hear is my new favorite, too, no matter how many times I’ve heard it. You might be happy to know that everything Sleep Token writes is groove-heavy. Most of their catalog is in 4/4, so you’re listening to prog (most songs, anyway) and you’re able to nod your head to it. I really hope you guys go back and check out the other albums when you’re done with this one. Trust me, we’ll keep showing up for them.

Lore with Sleep Token nerd: Vessel is now valuing himself very highly and sees his love as "Gold". The beginning talks about how is looking for a lover "animal calls/ mating call" and how he is still hurt from previous endeavor/relationships. "These days im a circuit board, integrated hardware you can not afford." this goes back to his self-value and this first part like I said can all be connected with Gold as gold is used commonly in circuit boards and is very reflective just like sounds off a wall (mating calls). As soon as a problem arises, rather than approaching it more compassionately/romantically, he is going into offence mode, ready to start a war, perhaps triggered by a past experience where he constantly felt he had to wage wars with his partner to have peace again. Quick to put down the roses and stop giving love so he can protect himself, but this time, he'll be attacking first so he doesn't get hurt first.
I think the Mt.Olympus line leads to the Greek Gods which then leads to talking about his past with his God "Sleep".
The chorus I think links the actual meaning of Aqua Regia which is a mixture that can melt GOLD/LOVE. (see where im getting at) This love causes happiness which is like "sugar on the blood cells, carbon on the brain", "Out of Eden's vices running through my veins" This I think links to his intamate connection with Sleep and how he let go of them and is now running out of love from them like a addiction.
"Oh and I am done dancing to alarm bells, No wonder my ears are still ringing, And I am done fighting off change, No wonder my arms are still swinging" This I think can be a connection to Dark Signs with Vessel stating "And when we met I could see dark signs, Alarm bells in your eyes". Dark signs was not just about his lover but Sleep as well so I think this is 2 things with his current feelings as well as his past ones mixing together.

I check every day to see if y’all have done more Sleep Token yet. I recommend the order of The Apparition, then Rain, and Euclid last-but like I said in another comment, do a back-to-back of The Night Does Not Belong To God from Sundowning (the first song in the trilogy of albums), and then immediately go to Euclid (the last song on TMBTE and the end of the trilogy). Gives me chills when I listen to them side by side
