    My first Sony Camera was the 42 megapixels Sony A7RIII, that I switched to Sony A7RIV and later also got a Sony A7RIVA, now I have Switched the Sony A7RIV to the Sony A7RV. I really like the new EVF and the new IBIS, I also like the new Bird and Animal eye detections. Sony Cameras are very easy to use when you have customized your own menu and buttons, I really like the fn settings a lot. I can very highly recommend the Sony A7RV, I can also recommend the Sony A7RIIIA and the Sony A7RIVA.

    You have some solid points, I love the body and ergonomics. I think it is a very good alternative for wildlife, my only negative is the low FPS. In wildlife you rarely have good time, so it would have been nice with a bit more than 10 FPS. But this is not a huge problem. Otherwise this camera is an absolute beast!

      I agree 100% with you and therefore I diecided not to pick it up as my main wildlife camera. But I got something new coming at the end of the month as my new daily shooter. Only saying 120 FPS ;)

      10fps uncompressed raw using the mechanical shutter?

      @@videoebner A9III or jpeg with any other camera. I run into a photographer shooting with the Z9. He shoots 120fps but it must be jpeg. He gets some great action photos like in air bird fights, Kingfishers diving & coming out with dinner, etc. He doesn't do any real heavy raw editing. Happy shooting.

    I'm testing an ilce 7AR4 now. I am currently still A-MOUNT A77M2 and A99M2. I am impressed with AR4 but for $500 US more I prefer AR5 especially for extra subject recognition. However, drawback for me is the really complicated or should I say enormously overwhelming menus is very difficult for me on the AR4. So I can imagine how much more there is on AR4. I can’t even figure out how to use the touch screen.

    • @videoebner
      @videoebner  Před měsícem +1

      Yes it does and shoots 7fps with the electronic shutter and 10fps with the regular shutter

    7 fps isn’t enough ^

      Depends on what you are photographing. For me 7 fps is not enough so I switched to the A9 instead of the RV
