I'm glad the interviewer steered clear of MCR. It's good, because Gerard clearly doesn't want to just be "the MCR guy" - he appears to want to be separately accepted for his comics, as a new part of his life and career, so it's good that it was very centered around the imprint.

I knew Doom Patrol was going to be his flagship, as he's a close friend and protege of Grant Morrison, and I think he has said before it was one of his central comic influences. I am surprised that there's no Animal Man though, for the former reason and the imprint's title. Lucky guy, Way, getting his very own mini-early-Vertigo.
This all sounds great but I still want his Batman mini series. I don't care if it's in Young Animal, Vertigo or in American Alien's universe just get him to do it because it sounded amazing.

Only issue I have is, well, Umbrella Academy 3 ain't gonna be for a while now, is it? Still, sure these will keep my psuedo-psychedelic comic cravings in check.

Alison Reeve in DC stick to Trinity (batman, Wonder Woman, Superman). From Valiant comics my personal favorite is "Ninjak" imagine if James Bond was a Ninja. That's exactly how the series is.
I think YOUNG ANIMAL is DC's way into diversity. I have a question a: Will these 4 boosk take place on a YOUNG ANIMAL earth or will they take place on Earth 0(Main Dc Earth
maybe you could make the new heroes aleins with there own species and planet cause that would awesome DC doesn't really talk about the history or chemistry of these different alein species there just there as like extras
